  • yest i was sent on a rubber hunt .

a particular dummy rubber from the locating pins of my front disk mounting plate went missing.
i dont know how it went away..
suddenly the front disk started to make hell lot of noise when i observed the disk calliper started to shake each time i brake .. i had a small rubber tube like thing with me which i inserted into

    (see the pic )

    then the shaking was reduced
.. i took the bike to svc and those guys said that particular part wont be available anywhere... .
then i went to almost all shops near my place was not able to get in anywhere ..... i searched it for almost 4 - 5 hours..

then the svc mechanic called me and said that there was one shop in west muggapair .. i went there got it for 80 bucks with some set of o rings
    (whole set).

the svc mechanic replaced it ...

Get two plugs and rotate them every 1000 kms and change the plug after 5000kms.

                Spark man....!!!
Rotating insure no load on em, and after every 1000kms you get almost new spark plug.
though people change plugs at 25000kms, i change them at 5000.

if it's not givin you any missing, acceleration problems, stick to it, otherwise the SC wont change it if it aint givin you the probs.

You mean to say, when i am using spark plug A, spark plug B will join some gym in my tool-kit to rejuvenate itself to provide full spark???

                  BTW,
Just got rear tube removed. My geo cruiser is tubeless now.

                      • Hey Guys, I measured my RTR-Fi's mileage today. It comes to a 42.5 kmpl. The riding is fully by my brother in total city conditions. Even my R15 gives a similar mileage. Is this the normal mileage that u guys are getting? What mileage do non-Fi owners get?

DId you ask why to change adaptor ? is it burnt or something ? check the spark plug condition if not good then you can change . the recommended change interval though is 12000 kms .
