The problem started 5 months back. My front brake became spongy and the lever travel was abnormally wide, so I insisted to do Air bleeding during servicing @ ASC. Unfortunately, the day it was done, it was raining, and I doubt that the fluid absorded moisture. What repeatedly happened with me was that whenever Air-bleeding/ top-up/ pressure building in fluid was done, the brakes performed good for only three consecutive days. The forth day, it again become spongy and braking performance also degraded everytime.

Till date, 6 times air bleeding has been done including 3 times total fluid change and remaining times top-up.
I had changed Brake pads, replaced cylinder piston (under Warranty), changed brake lever (was worn out) in this span of time.

I had escalated a mail also to higher TVS officials, and the air bleeding done
right after it lasted best (around 1.5 months). Recently, when lever travel again increased, and saw the reservoir oil's level was lower than LOW mark, I got brake pads changed. The bite of new pads was exquisite but remained only for a week. Nowadays, it is again bloody spongy, lever travel is almost reaching to throttle, and the braking distance is (of course) increased.

Please friends, help me in this regard. I feel someday I'll either I'll crash in some vehicle or some vehicle will crash me.
change Dot4 brake fluid And change the hose completely.check the bleed valve if any oil leake.

This has been done twice before. All the old fluid was completely flushed out and new fluid was poured (by a big injection) and pressure made. There's no evident leakage of/around bleed valve.
Does the Hose covered under warranty (Calling Satish)?
      Yes....

just had the cable checked this afternoon...it seems it was caught or stuck somewhere, the friendly mech at the SVC fixed it up and she's good as new now ...thank the lord. Remind me not to go to castrol bike zone for anything more than oil changes now.

Hey Boy !! U Got the same problem as mine. I was having the same problem for a long time after the SC person dropped some drops of polish by mistake while topping up the brake fluid. And after that got that same spongy piece of $h|t. They have done the bleeding at least 3-4 times and got no result as it was getting same as before. they even spoiled my front mudguard by the acidic brake fluid. At last they have decided to change the full upper break assembly on handle bar (under warranty) . Now it feels normal, no problem till now but fingers crossed. Try this my friend and ride slow until replacement.

I'll talk to TVS Engineer for this again. Last time I talked, he SMSes to get faulty part replaced, but then only brake pads were worn out, so I also thought that this might be the culprit. But as it has creeped-in again. Lets hope it is done under warranty (still 2500Kms remaining )
To add to it all, both the tyres are going almost bald (esp. Rear one).

Thanks for your kind advices. I'm riding within bike's (degraded) limits nowadays.

Yeah they don't fit-my friend already tried it.
Though it would have worked out much cheaper compared to the billet lever accessories from Yam, which are priced at Rs.1000&Rs.1100 respectively!
Broke the billet clutch lever accessory when the bike was tipped over in the building, when it was less than a month old. Ouch! That hurt me as well as my pocket!
                      Quench my thirst with gasoline!

2200Rs for a set of clutch and brake levers is difficult to digest
but i really wanted chrome ones...i was thinking of buying a chrome paint
can and using that on the levers.
at least that would be cheaper

Why dont you think of getting existing levers chrome plated or scrapping of the paint?

Nothing special man. I have done it. Also use some chemicals to remove the paint. If it works, then i will do it too.

you can also find someone who can powercoat it for you, it'll give it a brushed look, and you can have it in any colour.
