Guys, left my bike for service today. God knows when i'll get it back

I have a can of w40 motul 300v. but am not filling it up now. Filling her up with tvs tru 4t now and i'll change to 300v after 1000-1500 kms after service.

Want to know what diff service had made and what diff will 300v make!

Ugh the water hole on top of the fuel tank is clogged up

...now im afraid some water has mixed in the petrol. Lately the bike has been sputtering and turning off in traffic...but its alright when i switch the needle to the reserve position (there isnt much petrol in the tank anyways).

the drain pipe's routing is trapped under the weight of the petrol tank, my new bike had the same issue...
the service guy will tell you that it's blocked, but actually it's trapped under the tank...
unscrew the tank lift it up, and re-route it.

I think my meter is gone after hitting many bumps hard yesterday . speedo reading is very erratic and mostly showing 0 though TACHO is working perfectly .Netral is remaining on all the time and so are indicator light . will have to replace meter i guess

. can TVS put a RTR 180 meter in my 160 ? the mechanic was saying it wont fit as it has diff sensors .

I don't feel the same. I think the mechanic was just escaping to discover anything. IMO, RTR160 and RTR180 have the same indicators, thus same sensors.

Hi guyz.. somewat recovered from tat damn accident.. i have idea to change the head dome completely due to tat scratch.. it costs around 750 bucks in a authorized tvs service center... but am worried about the quality of the replaced dome.. will it be the same color and quality as the previous one..? should i go for a new one..? have u anybody have experience in tat..? pls help me..

Material and paint quality of new fairing (I think you are referring it as dome) will be same as original. Make sure to ask them to give you back your old dome in the new dome's box. That'll confirm the authenticity of parts.

RTR160 FI has the diff said "sensors" than the RTR160 and the RTR180 (infact the meters are not having any sensors at all, the mech there is foolin you around,both the RTR160 and 180 has the same speedo accept for the blue backlit that's it, the FI is having one more EMS light that sits on top of the three warning lights,in fact you can put FI's console too, all you'll be having is non working EMS light...)

god these mechs are morons....

On a serious note, do u need to replace the whole clutch assembly?
