2--the gear shit is a bit hard to sometimes.
3--i am thinking of getting my oil change to full synthetic.which one should i pour in? what measure should be taken before changing the oil?

Yup ! will keep it in mind. As the SC guy told me that TVS bike have a problem of getting tappets tight instead of being lose with time. So, may be the tappets are not letting the proper intake to the engine. Will check all of the probable problem causes on 27th afternoon and will update U .Originally posted by rennycornelius View Post

wiring problem, get it checked.

wrong clutch play, use matching the revs method in downshifts.

petronas, mobil, motul, nothing but draining the old oil and pouring the new one along with the filter.
answers in bold.
lube the linkage, the silver rod which connets the shifter to the 'box, the linkages are behind the rubber blck covers, open them wash them with kerosene and lube it properly.Originally posted by remortr View Postmy gear pedal is too hard to shift..(even some time i want to kick the pedal to down shift the gear) and their is no way to get neutral, the clutch play is fine what to do pls help..
show him the finger for what he told, it never happens, and make sure he does it the right way and not on the hot engine.Originally posted by rocker View PostAs the SC guy told me that TVS bike have a problem of getting tappets tight instead of being lose with time. The Magician"

Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

either it's bent or not lubed, or it's cuz of the completely worn clutch...Originally posted by remortr View Posti allready done that job,i think its all happening because of stunting

your clutch has died completely now, go and get it changed, as you're running on slipping the clutch, it'll result in engine overheating, lack in performance and efficiency. The Magician"

my fi has just covered 525 kms. and the service reminder has started blinking. Can I wait till 750 kms. or i should get its first service done. Also after the full fuel tank, it has done only 511 kms. and fuel meter is showing one or two bar. But the low fuel warning light has not come. What does this mean? Do I have fuel or should i get it filled?

Sure, you can wait till 750Kms and it is advisable that you continue running-in till 1000Kms.Originally posted by joykarnawat View Postmy fi has just covered 525 kms. and the service reminder has started blinking. Can I wait till 750 kms. or i should get its first service done.
This means that you have approximately 2-2.5 ltrs fuel still left. When you see last bar blinking, its safe to refill, but its still manageable and it means the bike's fuel is close to reserve.Originally posted by joykarnawat View PostAlso after the full fuel tank, it has done only 511 kms. and fuel meter is showing one or two bar. When the Low Fuel light turns on, it (ideally) means that you are left with around LAST 2 litres, but trust me, the time last bar starts blinking, the fuel reading gets doubtful. You should better fill the fuel in the blinking period. This will ensure no unwanted stress to fuel pump.Originally posted by joykarnawat View PostDo I have fuel or should i get it filled?Yes....

526Kms in say, 12 odd litres is an OK average considering run-in period, so its returning around 40 odd Kmpl. Let the engine settle down.Originally posted by joykarnawat View Postthanks for answering my querries..
but this means, the fuel average is very low?Yes....

New Tyre
Hey Guys finally i got new Front tyre for my bike its Mrf zapper Fx100/80 17". Grip is quite good and also bike feel's more stable on corer's Till now i've done 200kms and no issue except little wobbling issue on hig speed or in strong crosswind ( i mean Only front end wobble but it's not that Serious/Big) .
with new tyre i'll say
Cornering +++
Straight line (bike is stable @ 80-110kmph but wobble a bit after 112-115kmph)
Acceleration : did'nt Find much difference
Average: Who Cares hhehehehe....!
Sadly i did'nt got RTR180's Front tyre as it's also tubeless but i think this one is much better thn RTR's Front tyre
