  • Going for my RTR's 6th service tomorrow. Issues in the bike are:
    1. Accelerator is hard to twist. Need to grease the wire.
    2. Same problem as Rocker's. So will see what the SVC do about it.
    3. A Khat-Khat sound comes from the gearbox area. Can hear it when I am riding slow.
    4. Cold-start problem.
    5. Front disc pads need to be opened and cleaned.
    6. Want to get the carburettor opened and cleaned...Should I? As far as I know, they have never done this before in any service.

    Is there any other thing I need to be aware of during this service?

    Please advise.

      I tried almost all local shops. They say no other bush will fit on RTR's suspension..
      There's lot to it other than saddle....

      • its a wired problem in my bike.
        about the front braking.its not as smooth as it had used to be.i mean i cant brake smoothly the front leaver is kinda hard.if i press softly brakes are not applied,if given more pressure there it acts like i pressed it too hard.(got my fork oil changed recently for free)but idont think the thats the issue.may be the cable is the culprit.little help here.

        by the way how u guys have been?

          Damn! But there is a place in secbad. Those guys have wide varity of bushes. Let me try my luck there!

          Its not the cable. Just sandpaper the brake lever. The place where the lever pushes the piston in the disc reservior.

          This is kinda common in most RTR's

              Actually that solution does'nt make sense but, that is what my mech does when i complain abt it.

                            Ya Renny!! I am seriously thinking about plug changing, tappet adjustment and some fine tuning. Will do these activites in an order to find out the main cause. And most probably will post the review the day after tomorrow at night. Today morning the bike was feeling so slugish that I was able to move the bike somehow slowly slowly. And this happens in some days, otherwise bike was not a rockstar but was fine.

                            But thanks for help friends, its like my home with you guyzz.

                            • My old all problems are still persist very strong , although
                              Yesterday, I change the ball racer of my bike, and the front shock oil to Motul and cleaned the carburetor. Pour 125 ml for each leg. Handel feels so smooth and the damping of the shock is also good, but bit in stiffer side, hope that will help in cornering.
                              After cleaning the carb (as told by nox)) nothing happed, the same black carbon all over the plug.
                              Good news a new problem crops in, yesterday evening I was with my friend and ride almost 40km in the highway. Suddenly fill that I could not press the clutch completely, I used to full clutch till the handgrip, but now it’s not coming up to the grip there is approx 5 mm gap between lever & the grip. Any idea, don’t tell me your plates are fried!! As I already replaced them say 2500 km ago.

                              Already complained these problems to the TVS East zone, they supposed to take action by today only, fingers crossed.

                              Guys please pray for me & my bike.

                                What about ignition?

                                Regarding clutch, does your shifts are smooth? if not, check the clutch cable setting.
                                There's lot to it other than saddle....
