even i have motul 5100 15w50 more viscous than 10w40
get Motul 5100 10w40 if you can!
Btw motul 5100 15w50 cost rs 370 here.

all three suites my pocket but I think as I am confuse so don't want to take risk and I will use 20w40 one but I liked the 300v 15w50 but don't want to take risk as later it may harm my bike also as it is not recommended one

It's just more viscous that's it, it wont harm your bike in any case, just your bike may find it difficult to rev as freely as it does in xW40.

You can use 300v 5W40 if you dont want to use 15w50.

It has not blinked from the past 7000kms.
                          I'm not complaining.

                          • Fuel Injection Issues.

The injector is giving me problem now in summers..
once the bike gets heated up, it starts to miss on both sudden inputs and slow inputs, from 1800-2000 to 2500-3000RPM after that it pulls cleanly and crisply.

                            the missing is back

Even i had same prb with bike the Svc mech did some setting and now bike feel good and till now(after 2-3days of service) still there is no misfire/.
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

                              • Apache 160 RTR

                                A brief introduction of me:

I am 21 years old, computer research candidate from Ahmedabad (Gujarat), who have ridden mopeds and cars for 7 years.

So, I had an accident last week and the scooty was gone . Went to the showroom on the same day and decided upon to get the Apache 160 rtr (purely due to its looks ) from rest of the TVS motorcycles. I hardly do like 15 Kms a day on two wheeler, for rest I prefer my car (a Santro).

                                How was it like :

I concluded that I need to do more homework with Apache then getting it on the road and hurting someone. For rest of the week, I did 20 Kms per night on vacant roads. Here is the review.

                                Power :

                                Looks :

                                Mileage :
I had 2 liters of unleaded petrol over the reserve mark and did 97 Kms with it. Hope it improves.
                                Ergonomics :

Now I got few questions too:
                                1. What kind of petrol will suite the best for this motorcycle?
                                2. What are the optimum speed and RPM to ride this motorcycle?
                                3. Any other care that I am supposed to take based on past experience of any one around you?

                                Will post pictures soon.
                                - Rahul.
