    Don't Use 15w50 in RTR, you can switch to motul 5100 10W40.
    Stock spark plug lasted me around 9K Kms. Check the condition of the spark plug before changing. Also the Stock Spark plug cost around 120 Rs I think.

      Holy cow today poured motul 5100 15w50 into rtr 160.lets see then i will pour tvs tru4 20w40 in it again in the evening!motul 5100 10w50 cant be used on rtr 160 at all??
      else i have to throw away rs 370.
      it wont harm the engine nah?
      pls reply anyone!

        Nops, dude. It won't harm the engine but use it for at least 1000kms and shift to xw40 grade oil.Even i have used the 5100T in the 180 for 2.5k kms and found it to be a brilliant oil.

          Its of course a great oil. Its just that its a tad thicker and so will not let the engine rev freely. I have used the 15W50 300V and the 5W40 300V. And there is nothing short of difference in revvability!

              Anyone experienced a "rebound effect" while coming out of the corner with no or slight hump??

              Cuz today when i took one with little hump (right hander) the bike's rear almost jumped and settled, (65-70kmph 3 gear) it was little scary.

              i'am running on 4 setting.

                Wont harm your bike much...use it for abt 1500-2000kms and replace it! besides its summer...!

                  one query guys, is there ne identification number engraved on stock battery which relates it to the bike's engine or chassis number/ne other thing which can prove battery's coupling with tht respective bike??

                    nope.

                    But the battery warranty card has the battery serial number & generally has a mention of the bike's registration number or chassis number.

                      thnx for assuring me.
                      but yaar when i purchased my bike they didnt provide any warranty card for battery, i guess stock battery is under warranty by deafult for a year.

                          Hmm now changed to old tru4 will pour the motul 15w50 after next servicing

                          I asked the SVC about blank key they don't have any.So can anyone send me a blank key to me?

                              I think Recommended grade for RTR is 20w40 but u can use 15w40castrol power 1 OR Petronas 5000 fully synth if u want . And one more Query from my side..HOW can i chk that my clutch plates r worn out ..? i mean bike is doing 60-62kmph @ 5K Rpm but my mech said u need to change ur clutch plates ..? (bike details RTR Efi...30k kms)
                              Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

                                the card is usually stuck at the back of the battery . i discovered mine when i filled water in it but it was completely destroyed .

                                @abhiwar - your clutch is slipping . RTR should do 65 at 5k rpm if everything is stock like sprockets ,tires . you should change the clutch plates.
