any idea how to fix this as whole meter could be costly
Isnt your bike under warranty? If yes, then just show the invoice/bill of purchase at the service center. They should replace it under warranty.

if you open the front plate on the speedometer a warranty sticker will have to be removed , might be problems in claiming warranty . i had also opened meter once trying to change led backlit color .

i could not remove the tacho needle to access the smd leds underneath , i didnt want to use too much force and risk breaking the needle. anyway later my meter for a different reason failed and i got the rtr 180 meter in warranty and so im already on blue

I had opened the console twice to set that needle. Then got it replaced third time under warranty. Cos SVCs also do same to set the needle. They will try to set couple of times, then if slips again, they will change console.

@sunny: my net had gone Kaput. couldn't upload the pics. will do that ASAP.

RTR 160 refresh and Fi's silencers are direct fit. For 180's you need to change the mounting on engine head.

Cost will be around 4k. if you dont worry about higher emissions,go for RTR-Fi's silencer. As it do not have cat con and is partiallylly free flow.

Yes I know RTR fi's does nor have a catalytic converter. So will that give my bike a slight increase in power?

Better scavanging. Marginal differance only. But awesome exhaust note.
