I will try out some more when I get onto the 4 lane in a couple of weeks. But she seems to be really high revving!
you'll love it's madness with all tht vibration and tacho goin to 12000...!!!!!
but ya you can't drive it steady at 6000RPM...
at tht point it'll give you a body massage....

      • I left the RTR for 3rd free svc today at the showroom with a whole load of issue. Unfortunately as my bro is out of station and I have office today had no other option... As always the reception was great!!!

Apart from the jerkiness at 3K rpm I noticed a similar glitch exactly at 7K rpm. Bike just jerks for a second before lurching. Kinda like a how a carb bike will feel when it runs out of fuel. And there was 3 inches of fuel in the tank. This is how it feels exactly at 3K rpm as well. Also there is lot of false neutrals while shifting from 1st to 2nd gears. Told that as well. And cold start is just crazy. The bike idles at 900 rpm!!! Asked him to increase it to 1.2-1.4 and the guys were like saying it heats up a lot etc. I said, I know ur manual just do it! And the head oil leak issue also has been told. Shud be getting it tonight.

BTW TVS guys have also started getting and using that BARDAHL nonsense earlier used only by the BAJAJ guys. They were asking me for it, I strictly said no. I said if I see it added to the bill, I will not pay the amount or will complain about u!!!

As for the F2, it does about 2-3 kms. a day (errand shopping). Otherwise cleaned&parked lol. I will take her for service soon, got to get the fork&other body vibrations sorted out. Due to this I'm not running her much, even though engine is doing great with Petronas. Cold starts are also great with NGK Iridium.

Yep...she can do a lot more better....JAM92 had hit 140......

My bike goes in for service tomorrow or day after.....need to sort out fork and woobling issue's......will probably get a new rear tyre(under warrenty) but i have told him tht wont be necessary as i would anyways be replacing it with a M45 in a month or two.

Me riding my CBR these days......only yesterday i took out the RTR after 2 weeks... and it was raining cats and dogs.

now tht's first thing to come in the FI....
in fact my bike becomes super smooth after 6000RPM...
and after 6500 it's fully alive and goes MAD from 7000....
jerking at 7000 spells trouble....let us know wat the guys at sc told you...

regarding false neutrals lower the shifter by 1/2 inch...
            tht'll solve it....

with which tyre have you replaced the front? i just replaced the back with 3.00 M45. looks slimmer than the stock, but dosent slip like the stock in the rain. cant yet say anything about cornering cos haven't got a chance, only city riding.... i have a feeling that its falling into a corner more easily... which I was not ready for... have to get used to it and then try some corners fast...

Its dunlop Smart 90/90.....costed me 1075 including taxes.
Better grip(onroad, offroad and wet) and braking than TVS tyres.......ut off late i see some rubber peeling off am really not sure abt its cornoring skills as am yet to try it out coz i hve some serious woobling issues!

How much did M45 cost you? 3.00 is equal to 90/90........i think its better if u go for r15 front tyre for ur rtr front. Am going for 3.50 M45 for the rear....am getting a quote for 2200rs here in hyd

                  • @Satish: Rear disc is fine. No issues as such. Its actually as good as new, primarily cos I almost never use the rear! I in fact called up TVS first and talked to the Chennai service head before giving it at RAMKAY. He talked to these guys as well! Why waste some help when it's available!!

@Renny: My bike is a lot more civilised than all ur bikes man! So its always linear acceleration. I tried to hold the throttle at exactly 7K and it was like going up and down. Like how u hit the rev-limiter or ur out of fuel!

it cost me 1400. I dint want to upsize... so went for 3.00. ya, R15 front is the best bet.. but hard to find.

one query.. am using the 100/80 tube in 3.00 tyre... will that be a problem?

                            • Tyre replacement under warranty

                              Hi guys,

Way back, i.e. in early days of my bike, I faced enormous punctures in rear tyre, about which I went for replacement of tyre (by advice of SVC Manager), but the they refused to replace the tyre as they said they cud only replace the tyre if any abnormal variation in thickness is found or the inner threads are cutting the tube. Also one more symptom they told me which I don't remember now, but these were THE FEW abnormalities under which the tyre can be replaced (that too before 24000 Kms run).
                              Yes....

                              I'm still Alive...
