Better grip(onroad, offroad and wet) and braking than TVS tyres.......ut off late i see some rubber peeling off am really not sure abt its cornoring skills as am yet to try it out coz i hve some serious woobling issues!

How much did M45 cost you? 3.00 is equal to 90/90........i think its better if u go for r15 front tyre for ur rtr front. Am going for 3.50 M45 for the rear....am getting a quote for 2200rs here in hyd
what are the sizes of the tyres which R15 sports available in the market i mean are they available in 90/90 and 110/80 sizes too...
if yes then it'll be the best tyre upgrade for the RTR for front and rear respectively....

i'm thinkink of putting FZ's front and 110/80 zapper Q at the rear...
      any comments..
or should i put the R15's 80/90 front but for the rear i've to find tht in 18".....

mine's the refresh . I did 11 grand in 4th gear i believe. I dont use 2nd gear mostly...just for high traffic and below 20 kph situations.

hehe. Hey does ur bike sort of jerk at high speeds when the fuel is low and the fuel cock needs to be turned to the "reserve" position? Mine was doing this just yest when i was doing 80-90 kmph.

yup it does .. even in low speeds [60 or sumthin]
its normal .. once i was so scared on the highway i thought i ran out of fuel .. then i realized i had the reserve option left

                • Any one here bought and used the NGK iridium plugs? I am getting one for my R15 and thought of getting and using one for the RTR as well. Any thoughts?

                    • Dear all....
I bought an RTR fi and the first 3 days had been really horrible for me due to component defects and workmanship problems.

Last friday i got the bike after all the issues settled & i finally got ready for a trip to my hometown, Trichur, about 130 kms away from where i work.... Coimbatore.

It was more like taking risk. I was still not confident with the TVS. But still, out of excitement of getting bike back from service center, took the bike to kerala.

In 2 days (saturday & sunday) got a running of abt 400 kms. Really it was exciting and the bike was also in good mood. Didn cause any problem.

Only problem is myself as i took the bike to abt 5k rpm at times. Other times mostly i kept it in between 3-4 k rpm.
Till now i havent calculated the fuel efficiency. So no comments on the same.
I had changed the back tyre to MRF Nylogrip zapper -q 110/90 18", as suggested by most here. It is really a worthy upgrade considering the stock TVS.

Now the odo reading is abt 620km and will be giving the bike to service mostly by tomorro.

BTW after the trip, i felt some small issue. The bike hesistates to accelerate. Its rpm increases, but speed doesn increase in tht pace. Is it due to clutch slipping??
SLowly but steadily, the feeling of making a mistake of buying a TVS is going far...

NGK iridium in single electrode right ? and ours is twin ?? so NGK works better with its single trode ?

kindly give some answers to these small problems if any of ya have some time to spare

Rear brake.... Drum brakes making sound? Are you sure its the brakes and not something else? Try braking hard three four times, then check again... does it happen again?

unlike what many others said abt their service centres, mine is very kind on me. they agreed that they will do the regular servicing and oil change i can get it done outside...
is castrol better? which variant suits the rtr ?
thanks for the information in time as am abt to get it serviced this week.
                                here are some snaps
