And regarding the ignition system how to ensure that everything is OK?
BTW did you replace the jets of 180 and what is the result?
Even signle scratch on block wall can make all things go wrong. tell svc to check crank position switch, then swap the TCI and ignition coil with another RTR and check the results. You need not have to run long. with new spark plug, if you ride for an hour and check it again, you will get the results. Regarding 180's jet, its 125 size. though direct fit in main jet holder, it would be too big. trying to get 107 or 108 size main jet but not available around. There's lot to it other than saddle....

@kauria
first image indicates badly tuned bike, more on the rich side, that could play havoc to effiecincy and acceleration.
go back few pages, i have eplaining the tuning procedure.
your main prob lies in the top speed department....Originally posted by rocker View Post@Renny, Satish & all
Help me out guyz. My bike now feels no more RTR. Slow, harsh and all bad names are applied which are thinkable. Tell me guyz what can be the reason that your bike are doing 126-128 and mine doing 109 after a full throttle on a long strech. Now I am going mad
Tell me what can be the reason behind this. ? ?
Both my wheels are moving freely, I am lubing and cleaning my chain periodically, serviving is done on or before time. I was once able to reach 118 which is still saved in the top speed logger. Runin was done quite sanely but with long rides of 100 kms.
Mileage I am getting is around 46-47 and I think its too not something biblical. But tell me the diagnostics which I can try because 20kmph is a whole lot of difference in same type of machines.
how many kms logged?
:are you getting acceleration as before??
:has efficiency dropped??
:any cold starts probs??
:any hiccups after 6000Rpm??
most importantly to check if clutch plates are gone or not, accelerate your bike in gear and shift without closing the accelerator, if the bike pauses (revs and then goes forward, after the clutch is disengaged) and then takes on the surge, your plates are fried. The Magician"

YAMALUBE MINERAL OIL 350 kms report.
i'm not happy with this oil, the vibration have increased considerabley as compared to the engine filled with the can of POWER 1...
it is a good oil but not for RTR.
although, the smoothness below 5000RPM is as same but above 6000RPM with POWER 1 it's almost 30% less vibes..
thouth POWER 1 is not liked by many others here in this forum , but i've very good experience with it, right from my FIERO days...
will change back to POWER1 or SPRINTA (if i'm able to find one here in INDORE) after 700kms.The Magician"

I guess tight tappets also affect top speed and acceleration.
Bro if they say carb's are the problem, then why dont you try and swap a carb from another perfect RTR and test it for few hundred kms if possible and see?Originally posted by kauria View PostBut how come the rings are fried within 4000 km, after the engine rebuild under warranty, they replaced everything from head, valves, piston with gudgeon pin & the block. Rear tire is free to move, so no problem in this department, I think.Originally posted by jasmeetsinghchawla View PostGet the chain checked and adjusted carb and Air filter cleaned in front of yourself then see the results.
Dont know about it but I think problem is not so major. But will try if any simple thing will not work.I think your the bike is suffering from compression loss, after few minutes of riding when the bike comes upto working temoerature just decrease the idling to 1000 rpm if the bike stalls then you need to change the piston rings no major problem.
Some days ago I clocked 4.9 sec 0-60. I am not of a very good dragster but I clocked that figure. I think clutch plates are finre.Originally posted by indianz_alive View PostClutch plates can also be the culprit for sluggish nature... If yours has done around 20Ks on odo, this possibility can be more prominent. Try 0-60 reading, I think it won't be less than 5.2 sec.

:I cant say this ??
:Running very little these days because of the exams (boring stuff)!! So no idea about effeciency.
: Yup Cold start is a every day problem now, rpms are lower than 1000 on the first start but rpms stay at 1400 after warming up with little fluctuation.
: Nothing but top sspeed is low, but bike run at the same speed at the same speed a it used to before.|| My Doc says bhp is directly proportional to testosterone. I want more I want more .............. ||

Spares shortage in west zone.
I am facing the spares shortage in mumbai region. I wanted to buy following spares, but they are not available
. tha same are as follows:
1. Carburetor minifold- Not Available at innovative and priayanka TVS. After market are not of good quality.
2. Rear brake Master cyl. pivot pin- Available in rear disc service kit, which costs around 400 bucks. And pin should not cost more that 10 Rs.
3. Rear suspension Bushes- Not available in SVC as well as other auto shops.
4. Carburetor vaccume slide & diaphragm- Not available in SVC as well as other auto shops.
Heck i am regretting myself for not buying Hero Honda or Bajaj
.
All shopkeepers say. Hero Honda have many common spares(Very much True! check out their bikes) and Bajaj spares surely get sold within a month (Thanks to poor quality and even milkmen here use discovers and pulsars). But TVS spares do not give up soon and are non standard. So we do not keep them.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

@rocker:
make the mixture little rich by half turns, and change the plug as nox2505 said, and post the changes.
ya buddy.Originally posted by thegreat1 View PostDear Renny, Do tell me if u find sprinta in Indore

will try at the castrol dealer near railway reservation office.
if the piston is gone then it's surely covered under warranty, as the warranty if of two years.Originally posted by abhiwar View PostHello , I Need some help .
