Thanks for the reply but can you mention the price and whether its semi or full synthetics oil.My bike running at 5.7kOriginally posted by chicane1879 View PostMotul 5100T rocks.I used it for 3k kms and is one awesome engine oil for the RTR. Had to replace it and switch to Super Swift as it's not of recommended grade. But will definitely try the 5w40 5100 for sure in the future!!Speak Less,Speak Wise!

I was after this oil but couldn't find it in time in INDORE, MOTUL any day is the best oil, but PETRONAS fully synth at 300 per liter is too tempting and to top it all it's a pretty good oil.The Magician"

personally i felt that the engine heats up a bit more with Motul than say like with AGIP. Castrol Power 1 is a complete waste on the RTR and makes matters worse.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostDont worry, u will be more than satisfied with it! Its a good oil. Am using the same on my bike.
Renny, the first number is of no use to us. Its the minimal temperature till which specified viscosity is maintained. I have used both the Petronas and Motul 300V. Good oils. Vibes have definitely reduced and the heating is way less. Revs are much quicker. Definitely recommended.

I don't know why the POWER 1 is not liked here, i've used this oil right from my FIERO days and i used this oil thrice in my RTR too, the bike worked good, i had no issues with the heating, gear changes or anything.Originally posted by RedApple View Post. I think it's a good oil.Last edited by rennycornelius; 03-18-2010, 09:05 AM.The Magician"

It's semi-synthetic.A can should set you back by 275-300 bucks.Originally posted by haxor View PostThanks for the reply but can you mention the price and whether its semi or full synthetics oil.My bike running at 5.7k

Belly Pan Removed
Today i removed the belly pan of my bike, i just wanted a clean under the engine look, so got rid of that, now my next step is to remove the heat guard from the silencer, then will give it for powercoating for all black affect, with a neat graphic at the end, will post the pics after getting it done. The Magician"

I think it's a good oil.I have used Power 1 on my Pulsar and RTR as well. The difference between this oil and other minerals is good. But its just that the oil is not better compared to equal semi-synth oil from Motul or fully synthetic oils.Originally posted by Technocrat View PostMy bike has done 12k Kms now. On the next service I intend to put Castrol Power 1 as I had a very pleasant experience with Power 1 in my P180 DTSi V1 & the ZMA.Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner.
