1400+/- 200. u can keep it 1200 but prefered is near to 1500, as it will quickly start by electric starter.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

      • Set the idling RPM when the engine is warm i.e., after a ride of a few kms. If set in cold engine, the RPM will rise above the normal limit when the engine warms up.

Be sure to check the oil level at 1K kms.-it went down drastically in my TVS&I changed it at 1500kms. It was completely black by then.

Yes, FS oils do last longer but require topups in between, you need to find out which oil your bike is most comfortable with. Motul suits Pulsars, but some have cases of oil seal leakage, due to the detergent action of the double ester compounds in synths, which blows the seal!
I somehow found Tru4 mineral to be the best for TVS bikes, though Veedol Super Swift is something I wanna lay my hands on-sadly haven't found/not available in Hyderabad yet.

                    • Guys TVS just replaced my silencer pipe with a new one. My RTR 2008 model which came with a resonator attached with the pipe just below the engine, now the new one is without the same, is there will be any problem without that?

The old one got rusted in the header part, send a mail to TVS on Saturday, and receive a call form local TVS Area manager, he asks me to come and they will replace it. Just came to my office with a brand new pipe, and wow, this pipe sound sexy, like the Fi & 180. My previous pipe was bit quite.

                      TOTAL RAW RTR BLISS..

Try having a speed burst, then stop at the side&check the idling RPM, I used to find it about 200RPM less, compared to when it was running on mineral.
