Now as the P220 has this tire as stock, I almost, on first look, thought that this is a TVS product, but only after closer look, I came to know that I was wrong.Originally posted by chicane1879 View PostLooks almost exactly the same one as the stock TVS ones!!
(Thought Bajaj is saving cost by using competitor's cheaper product).Yes....

Horns needs setting.
My horns are behaving in a funny way now, when the bike is standstill they sound like my battery is gone, but the moment the bike is started thay sound normal, i thought that may be the main connectors at the battery might be the culprit, but i cleaned them with sandpaper (and lost one of them
) still they are sounding that way.
Will have to tune them now.
One more thing, what's that grey coloured wire near the injector is for??The Magician"

You need to check the water level in the battery and top it up cause Indian heat just evaporates the battery water and you need to keep on checking it specially in summers.Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostMy horns are behaving in a funny way now, when the bike is standstill they sound like my battery is gone, but the moment the bike is started thay sound normal, i thought that may be the main connectors at the battery might be the culprit, but i cleaned them with sandpaper (and lost one of them

Are you talking about the wire going to the ETS? A pic with the wire circled would help.Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostOne more thing, what's that grey coloured wire near the injector is for??

Will have to tune them now. You're probably right about the battery level dropping due to the heat, but a weak battery would first manifest by not running the electric start, which renny hasn't mentioned. If the battery is fine, starter and flasher working right with the engine off, you will need to check the wiring. There doesn't seem to be a relay for the horns in the wiring diagram, so that's out of the question. I'll bet ya 50 bucks that a half decent mech (except at the tvs svc) would figure it out in 10 minutes.Originally posted by jasmeetsinghchawla View PostYou need to check the water level in the battery and top it up cause Indian heat just evaporates the battery water and you need to keep on checking it specially in summers.

any one with my query friends...i badly need your help please :Originally posted by metalhead_aj View Posti own a 160FI...can anyone tell me if i can change the stock stator coil to that of avenger180 ???? i mean is it a direct fit ???i do a lot of 2lane highway riding at night and want some more light off my stead
p.s.: i have already installed a 55/60 philips bulb in the headlight and 2 3watt pilots along with a 30% extra fog light. currently i am extracting aroung 116watt(55w headlight + 55w fog + 3x2 pilots ) instead of the stock 45watt (35w headlight + 5x2 pilots). this takes a toll on the battery. i dont use the fog always though.
please help

When i broke that clip while cleaning it, that day only i topped the battery's water with the injection voils, though the level was not dropped much, but i topped it upto the level, i vaselined the the main connectors too.
Will check the setting of the horns today, earlier they used to do this, but after a good spray of water at them they used to work fine.
The one that goes into the head right beside the injector, i'am not having cam with me right now, my friend took it, will post the pic when i'll get it back.Originally posted by julianpaul View PostAre you talking about the wire going to the ETS? A pic with the wire circled would help..
