    Will have to tune them now.

    One more thing, what's that grey coloured wire near the injector is for??
    i was also facing the same symptoms initially and now my battery's plates gone completely as such k now battery even didnt possess sufficient charge to carry out self check on turn of ignition key.
    by the way how much i have to spend for new one.
    svc guys quoted 12v 9amp battery of Rs1200.
    how abt reliability factor n cost of mf batteries?

    • hey guys checked the SVC again for the wobbling issue! they checked it and said alignment is fine..no bend in alloy..everything is fine..and said the issue might be caused by "ganja" tyre and i was like WTF?

      The tyre is just 16k old and it doesn't look bald at all. Then as I was heading back home I found the same issue again. The handle was wobbling at speeds greater than 60. Feeling shit scared when was leaning at a cirlce.

        Just get the bolt which connects the swingarm to the chassis tightened. You problem will be solved.
        Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.

          • Horns back to business.

            I adjusted the screw of the horn, the high one was the culprit, low was sounding good, after adjusting the both they're sounding good as new.

            @SARAB_FI:

            Check the TATA GREEN batteries too.

            @sunny9830687955:

            try the Petronas sprinta, it's very good oil for the price it sports.

              Tata Greens are too good. Go for sealed one.

              If the bike starts well in neutral and keeps running while RPM set at 1500 on Hot engine, you screwed the clutch. If it gives same prob, run a little rich.

                If the wobbling is creeping from front, there might also be a chance that the front tyre's tube is not seated properly. In case if it was changed, ensure correct profile. There are chances that the tube while inflating, gets stretched more on some points and thus result in unbalanced weight distribution. This leads to improper tyre seating in alloy wheel. This has happened with me, and ever since I had changed the front tyre (tubeless), the wobbling is vanished (even I was doubtful for bent fork, misaligned wheel things).

                One thing I want to discuss with All is the 'misalignment of rear mudguard thing'.
                Recently when I was cleaning my bike, I noticed that the gap between rear shocks & footpeg plate is not equal on both sides as my hand was not going freely through the gap in the left side shocker spring and the footpeg plate.
                Similarly, on the right side, the gap was wider. It seems like swingarm is little bit shifted towards left, which makes the mudguard look like out of center.
                I crosschecked it with another RTRFi, and the gap was more or less same, but the mudguard was still out of alignment.
                Guys please do check this gap, I want to know whether this difference is generic and gets developed in course of time or is there any other issue with the bike.

                  Little bit of a misaligned rear fender is ok, but the kind of you mantioned indiacates the dumba$$ SC guy who didnt bothred to match the chain setting counts at both ends, and just tightned the whole thing in a hurry like his A$$ is on fire.
                  SEE for yourself, even a mm out will wreck HAVOC to the sproaket, and will make the wheel look out.

                    Can it also be related to misalignment of the bolt highlighted by green circle in the attached picture...?? because I'm mentioning the variation in gap highlighted with arrows shown in other attachment.
                    Chain setting count misalignment would misalign tyre and rear sprocket, but here it's the total swingarm assembly that has gone out of centreline.

                    • Instability in Cross Winds

                      Guys, today while I was coming to office, my bike felt pretty unstable due to cross winds and I was doing only around 45-50kmph.. It's very hot here in chennai now and when the wind blows my bike goes all over the road literally. What could be the problem. Does anybody else felt this before. This thing happened in Saidapet bridge for people who know/ are in chennai.

                      One more issue I'm facing is the throttle response between 3k to 6k has gone down. The bike struggles at these rpm and mileage has gone to less than 45.Engine also feels rough & sounds like an old engine.Now I also think Fi's don't like hot weather.
                      My bike's one year old & done around 5433km and it's due for servicing in the first week of June . Kindly suggest your opinions.
                      Regards,
                      Samuel

                        see there may be 3 factors which can effect that gap u mentioned-
                        1. tightening force used for green encircled bolts.
                        2. displacement of silencer mounting bolt/bracket.(R/h side)
                        3. displacement/absence of saree guard (as it supports that footpeg bracket to an extent.)(L/H side)

                        >the bolt that shown in green circle can effect the gap that u hav mention only to a little margin(negligible) which depends upon the tightening force used to tighten it. therefore if tightening force is large=gap increases(negligibly) and vice versa.

                        >if your silencer had faced any hit or accident from its side than definitely there may be some displacement in terms of mounting bracket of silencer and hence can cause variation in gap with respect to L/H side.

                          But neither Saree guard nor Silencer is mounted to Swingarm which is connected with rear shock absorbers.
                          Atleast I can rule out the possibility of chassis bending...
                          • The centre bolt is never touched by any tool yet.

                          • And even a 1mm here and there of this bolt would translate in angular deviation of (comparatively much longer) swingarm.

                              There's a little curve type thing in the right shick absorber of the bike, as the pic suggest, is it? Or that's just the camera angle?

                              Crosswinds affects RTR, so dont worry much about it, but it feels kinda much when you're battling a crosswind and truck passes you by, it can virtually throw you off the road if you're not carefull in RTR, i've faced this twice.

                              Your bike's injector and air filter needs cleaning.
                              And as your bike has already done more than 5000kms,i'll suggest you to replace the fuel filter.

                              @Whizzkid ram:

                              Go for power1, motul,veedol or petronas sprinta.
                              Sprinta is a very good oil for the price it commands.
