Well.. the vibrations are normal since the bike is powered by an oversquare engine (Bore x Stroke ratio > 1:1...google for more info). About the vibrations reducing after 65, that too is true. Its coz of a particular frequency of the vibrations which make it felt more, once the frequency rises, it gets a bit smoother. That makes it comparatively comfortable at high speeds.

    2) The brakes on my bike i.e the front disk and the rear non-disc produce a hell of a noise....Despite my repeated requests to the service center guys to do something about it....i still see no solution....I give it for service....the brakes would stop producing noise for a couple of days....but then the sound starts again from the 3rd day....Is this common or Is this something i need to address immediately??...
A slight noise may be normal. But do get your brake pads checked. If it needs replacement, get it changed, or u'll harm ur disk.
    3) While braking from good speeds....the rear tyre seems to be sliding all over the place.....for instance today morning while commuting to office....i was doing 75-80 and then applied brakes to slow down for a speed breaker and it seemed to me that the rear end of the bike was sliding all over the place...Is this something common??...Would you guys suggest me to change the rear wheel??...

    PS: I live in Bangalore....
IMO, this could be coz of the TVS tyres which are made of comparatively more harder compound rubber. This makes the tyre last long but suck at grip. However, my beast has a Pirelli Sport Demon at the rear. It rarely slides. =)

    • Hey Shrey...thanks for your reply and advise...i would go to the service guys this weekend and get my brake pads checked.....

Regarding the rear wheel....I am guessing that after tyre change there would be some effect on the mileage....Right now i am getting around 42kmpl....so how much less would it be after the tyre change??....

Well...it wont be a much huge effect on mileage. Yes, it loses a bit of ite peppiness though. I get 47 kmpl on my Fi. But yea, dont go for any foolish tyres. I'd advise to stick to the stock width (110). In that way, it wont affect your mileage, and if the tyres are light weight, they are even better.

          +1
the vibrations are very much present in all bikes at this speed. its just that they are a bit better damped.

absolutely true.. tvs tyres are generally hard compound and hence last longerand suck in grip.

pirelli sport demon is good.. however, the scorpion series is a bit better tradeoff on the life front, and plus they are the semi offroad type and have an awesome wet grip=)

              It might be Fuse Problem...???
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

                  Tyre size(front) : 100/80 x 18"

I am planning to install Vee Rubber tyres or Michelin tyres? Which one is good for Apache during wet conditions and on sand/gravel?

Also please tell a shop where Vee Rubber tyres are available in PUNE.

My throttle cable is screwed, it's holding the accelerator, had too bad time in the traffic in the eve, it wasnt letting the RPM fall between the shifts, will lube it, or get the thing changed.
