      • I think I mentioned this in an earlier post. I used the R15's front 14T on the RTR. Result was disastrous. Bike wud feel dead in 4th and 5th. 14T front or 2T less at rear is too tall. Bike will not even cross 110. I will suggest going just 1T less at rear. The Apache's 43T rear is the best on that aspect! Anything more and ur just killing it.

          Hi Aparijith,
The RTR already has 43T in the rear..Right?
So are you suggesting me to reduce it by 1 i.e to 42T ?

RTR uses 13T front and 44T rear.

                Ohh..Ok.
So 43T will be just perfect for a boost in top end..Right?

                • oil leak??

                  Hi Guys,

How will i identify whether oil leak is there or not?

I noticed oil around the gear lever part and under the engine near that area and reported to service center who said they fixed this by changing the oil seal(wonder they have even touched it). Now after the service I am again seeing oil signs around the gear lever part of the engine. Does this mean that there is an oil leak or is it just excess oil getting spilled out?
I am not seeing any drips of oil where I park my bike and also when i check the oil level, enough oil is there just to wet the bottom 4 mm of the oil dip stick.

Please advice. I am going for a 140km trip one side tomorrow.

                  Thanks in advance.

if it is just after service then it might be the chain lube that drips near the front sprocket . check the oil after putting bike on center stand .

Do you own a FZ right now. Are you replacing it with the RTR 160?

Try installing that of RTR160 which you have.
