  • ^^ Can do it, but light will be dim at idle. It will be usable around 3k rpm and up.

Whats that relay thing that comes for the horns??
can it be used in the 55/60 watt bulb? Will it make the bulb more bright?

The brightness will be improved but it can be marginal. You can experiment and see.

The h/l does not run from battery but directly from the coil. So, you can tap the RR unit AC output and run it through the relay.

As i'am saving some 15 watts (running without two pilots and num plate light), is it advisable?

refer my previous posts renny. i have already done that relay thing with horn and headlamp. if you run 55/60, h/l switching will not be quick, but with some delay.
There's lot to it other than saddle....

that's possibly the best combo you can get for the RTR....

mine battery was also dead, right now running with ups 7amp battery, just enough for self check, horns n indicators only. electric starter is not working
but since my stock battery become dead m facing issues like bike getting switch off at start n hiccups in first few metrs.
does it something related to ignition system as fi possess transistorised control ignition( TCI) which is feeded directly by battery power( according to wiring diagram of fi).
therefore, there is something going wrong with ignition system as battery power is less than 12/13V and i guess TCI unit is not getting a enough input power to perform efficiently( production of sparks at desired timing).
                              BIKING ??? " A RELIGION "

                              • Did some serious offroading with my bike yesterday,
but the bike's little ground clearance wasnt enjoying much of it.
...slipped thrice, not blaming the tyres as the road called for knobby ones, the fins got covered with mud!!!!

                                Ps.
had a talk with the showroom guy yesterday too, the rear numplate light is still out of stock.
