Refresh was launched in 2008 only. If your RTR isnt Refresh i.e. its without tank scoops and have exhaust resonator below engine, the canister end is like that.
On RTR refresh, exhaust was changed. this had no resonator and protruding pipe end.

          • Can you see the red colour Classic Pulsar's sliencer??( the one between pulsar 180 ug3 and pulsar 200)
The exhaust canister of my RTR is exactly the same as that of that Classic Pulsar! Does that decrease my bike's performance and mileage??

P.S- Sorry guys I wasn't having any other pic :-(

              • OK, Guys thanks for the idea, so, I need a tubeless tyre and a valve for that and my stock rim will be fine. Just confirm, can I use Zapper q as tubeless or Dunlop Geo. My front tyre is still stock and think will go for another 10k.

@tushar: The only classic RTR comes with the exhaust resonator below the engine like Pulsars, but in REFRESH TVS stopped the thing. The first RTR without this was Fi, later they use it in 180 also.
Mine is Classic and its Feb'08 model, i had the resonator in my exhaust, but when I got a new exhaust from TVS (old one replaced by TVS as I claim for warranty) surprisingly it had no resonator, I asked TVS people about the after effect, they confirmed it will be fine, and its fine till date. I hardly feel any difference between the both in my bike.

                • Had met with an accident a month ago , my bike fell on the right side , coz of that engine guard got bent completely which misplaced my scoops and my rear brake pedal also got bent , got the engine guard replaced and others adjusted . The rear pedal was getting in the way of kicker but got it adjusted , but now again it s coming in the way of kicker , should i get it adjusted or replaced and what s the cost ?

Sorry to note you had an accident, hope you have fully recovered now.
The brake pedal is related to safe riding...so a bent one ,corrected later may have reliability issues. So for your safety please have it changed and ride safely.

Dude I am terribly confused? Can you please distinguish between all the RTR models? How many types of RTRs are available? I dont understandthese terms CLASSIC and REFRESH.

And what is a resonator? Is my bike's silencer fully stock?

                        Kindly answer all my queries.
