And further why didn't TVS not taking any steps to solve the problem? Many like Satish here faced this issue regularly, and further this item is beat costly too.
What could be the reason and rectification for this, please share your views..
Even my bike bike was giving trouble, due to the 'failure' of the one way clutch, had to but new one for Rs 1187
Mechanic was saying that the "Old" ones werent good enough.

        • Fi Woes:
Coming back to this thread after some time and looks like there are a load of problems and all of different kind. Feel bad to post mine too.

Engine RPM on my Fi is not coming down when I release the accelarator and hold the clutch. Its some times stays at 3k, sometimes at 4k, then after 3-4 secs comes back to idle. Only started recently after the mech at svc fiddled with the idle screw as it was turning off while running.

What is the idling RPM when u turn on the machine??

Probable he must have set it to high rpm...The standard RPM level is between 1200-1400

The idle RPM is a bit high. around 1900. but the prob is that the RPM is hanging around at 3 or 4 thousand for a few seconds when I release the accelerator. its like the accelerator is stuck and then releases itself after 3-4 secs.

I think the accelerator cable might be tight
Though i'm not sure about it...I feel its a small issue that can be sorted..
Can anyone give us a better explanation on the same...

The normal RTR behaviour. Its ur AF screw which is the culprit.
Refer to one of my posts of tuning the the AF. Its a vedio hope it helps. Here is the link:
