I got 129kmph with Castrol Activ 20W40. Don't know about TVS OIL.
Try to start at 7K RPM in 1st gear. and then red line 9.5K RPM in every gear, you should be hitting 125+kmph.
Ok now I got it. I changed to 5th gear at 5k rpm itself.
BTW how is the performance of 20w40 in ur bike?
I thought initially of changing from 10W30 to 10W40 or 10W50. But i couldn't find any as the market is full of 20w40. So had to settle with the tvs oil itself.

I think with 10W50 engine will run cooler.

Yes you are right. But during long journey it is good to avoid over engine heating.

Yah for long rides, it is desired.

By the way, today I was biking in highway. I had to take it because the road I usually follow was very congested today. So took a 12KM turn in Highway.
I was doing 53kmph at 4K RPM in 5th gear as I am in run-in period. A micro was creating problem. And then I opened throttle to over pass him, I was amazed at the response of pickup. I was doing 69-70kmph at 5.3-5.4K RPM in 5th gear when I zoom passed him.

And there was no Vibration absolutely. I am now amazed at TVS that they actually fixed some important issues than it's last predecessors. Long live TVS.

I dont know whats advantages the FFE gives when installed in a bike, but I can tell you that installing aftermarket exhaust increases the power little bit,bit of it works like turbocharger!Dont know if it effects the mileage!

              correct me if am wrong

a well designed free flow exhaust like joel's will increase mileage a bit maybe 2-3 kmpl as exhaust gases exit easier and faster hence its called a free flowing exhaust as there are lesser restrictions like catcon and decibel killers. cost will be dependent on which exhaust you buy , the local made end can only will start from 2500-3000 while something thats designed especially for the bike like race concepts full system exhaust which also increases power as well as the sound and mileage will be around 6-7 k

So in the absence of a catalytic converter, I will definitely contribute more to the pollution of the environment? Just curious.

so that means RTR FI's exhaust is ffe as in service manual it is written that fi's exhaust is different than other RTR 's due to absence of catcon

its not just the absence of cat con that makes an exhaust a ffe , stock exhaust also is designed to lessen the sound to be within the decibel limits of our country by using a muffler . back pressure is also altered in a ffe that helps performance . the absence of the cat con in fi is the main reason why its 15.7 bhp while the carb rtr is 15.2 .

Is there any way to remove cat con from our carbed RTR?

                            • Rear wheel bearing started showing sign of going kaput. So got it changed today. Rear part of the chasis seems to have a slight bend! Will get it repaired in the next service!

                              • this week i did a mileage test on my carb rtr with 200 rs petrol from my usual petrol pump , mileage 53 kmpl . i repeated process from a new petrol pump that now comes in my new commute and i got a astonishing mileage of 60 kmpl , personal best ever !
and my bike hasn't been serviced from the last 3000+ kms . lets see what mileage i get after this weekend when i service my bike

yes its possible by welding and opening exhaust and then drilling out the cat con , then welding it back .

@ satish - what sign to see for rear wheel bearing wear n tear ?
