Waah WaahOriginally posted by haxor View PostChange the battery!Originally posted by 130kmph@17bhp View PostSince we are on the topic of "starting" the bike,
My bike, whenever cold starting will come on in 1 (or sometimes 2) kicks!
so normally after i run for a few kms, i switch of the bike at a traffic signal
and everytime, The bike requires atleast 7+ kicks to start up!! so nowadays i have stopped switching off the bike at signals although the wait might be more than a minute!
The battery in my bike is very weak , i have to change it, but i am keeping it for a later time, as kitty's empty :P
Why do u think the bike behaves like that??
P.S Put Sirac street on the rear last week, Noticeable difference in rough patches, but in tarmac, i cant find much difference in grip than the old tvs tyres :O

Hi. I have some doubts regarding my 160 hyper edge. As you guys know, the tvs manual says that the usable reserve is 1.7L even though the total reserve is 2.5L. So, if I fill the bike with 5 litre of petrol when both reserve and tank are empty, do I get 2.5 litre in the main tank or 3.3 litre? Thanks.

No negative effects. It is absolutely okay, buddyOriginally posted by PsychoRider View Posthey guys i have a doubt.is it okay to fit 100/90x18 tyre in the rear rather than the stock 100/80??will it cause any negative effects on the bike?
You'll have 3.3 litres of petrol in MAIN. How? See, the reserve is a total of 2.5litres, out of which only 1.7litres is usable. So, when according to you the bike has NO petrol in reserve+main, it actually had the REST (2.5-1.7=0.8litres) of petrol into it already. And the next time you fill up 5 litres of petrol, it will go 1.7litres in the reserve, and the rest 3.3litres in the main tank only.Originally posted by pcgamer View PostHi. The new Apache Hyperedge 160 is more refined than its earlier version..Just make sure that the engine oil is upto the mark, check for scratches and every switch is working fine or not.Ride SafelyOriginally posted by r4z0rs-edge View PostHi guys, I'm from bangladesh. I want to buy a apache hyperedge. Can anyone tell if the vibrations are less on hyperedge? And what things should i check before delivery? We only get engine warrenty here. So i just wana make sure that everything else is okay with it. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. Another thing i also want to know is that is that if i can fit the rear tubeless tire of hunk in hyperedge? Thats the only tubeless tyre available here. And if i can then will it decrees acceleration? Mileage isnt a headache for me though. and is there anyways to check that the forks are not bend or not? Or if the disc is well? The dealers wont change these after i have taken the delivery. So i want to check everything before taking the delivery.

Probably you have to modify to fit the tyres of hunk..I would say don't go for this mod, keep the bike stock and if you can find the rear tyres of the R15,then it would be awesomeOriginally posted by r4z0rs-edge View PostThanks for the quick reply. If the forks are bend, then the bike will wobble.

Well, it can give you nightmares on high speeds. Rectify it ASAP.Originally posted by PsychoRider View Postthanks.i have another doubt.sorry to bombard you with doubts

Its the same size and being Zapper, its better in terms of grip as compared to TVS tyres. But R15's tyres are even softer and hence, better grippers on tarmac. However, Pirelli's and Michelin's rubber is the softest and stickiest if you can get that.Originally posted by Krish1417 View PostProbably you have to modify to fit the tyres of hunk..I would say don't go for this mod, keep the bike stock and if you can find the rear tyres of the R15,then it would be awesome
