Well that means you're a better man than me, when I didn't feel any noticeable improvements I thought I'd make the best out of it by using it for longer intervals, on a periodic inspection found the plug to have seriously deteriorated from the outside hence had to scrap it.

The one from Hero Hunk is from NGK if I'm not wrong, its a step colder.

The bike is due for a maintenance repair and im getting a few parts changed. Is it possible to get the costs so that i dont get duped or over estimated ?
      Repairs planned are:
      1. Chain and sprockets
      2. Rear brake shoes and bushes
      3. Front disc brake pads
      4. Spark plugs
      5. Head gasket

Have to get these done ASAP, so any speedy response will be highly appreciated.
      Thank you.

A year ago Bajaj presented the new Avenger line-up with reexamined styling and includes. From that point forward justice fighter arrangement has seen quite great achievement, as the business figure for the Avenger line-up has expanded. As of late, Indian clients are demonstrating more enthusiasm toward various ideas and outlines rather than just fundamental worker cruisers. Taking motivation from active Avenger line-up's prosperity Bajaj Auto is getting ready to reveal an all the more ground-breaking and bigger motor fueled Avenger, which will sit on untouchable up. Dedicated as Avenger 400 this bike is under work and anticipated that would dispatch in mid 2017. Bajaj has effectively cleared its goal to challenge Royal Enfield with its new items, and in that endeavor up and coming Avenger 400 will be one of the items. One more thing i want to discuss that the Led bulbs of bajaj avengers are more effective in the lateset models. I am sharing a link for checking out the new bulbs, if the previous stop work.

Hey guys, I'm having a serious problem with my avg. 220 cruise 2018 model white. It doesn't start at times. First time this happens on Jul 30, I take it to the local mechanic. He tells me battery is fine but rotator blades have gone and cost would be 3.5k to replace. I ignored the suggestion and gave it to the showroom, they changed the spark plug and poof! Everything works fine. Again on Oct 4th I face this problem but this time it was a battery down issue (horn had very low sound) . Recharged it, gave it for 2nd service on 5th. Suddenly today again this happened after a rode for a few minutes, it wouldn't start.this bike doesn't have kick-start. Another point I fill full tank always. I'm literally thinking of selling the bike. I have a video of this - https://youtu.be/8SY3uwDdP_Q Anybody else face this problem? Please help me out..

claim for warranty. some electrical component are causing this battery drain. or the battery is not getting charged . Check voltage with multimeter at battery terminals

              Trust none.

Get a multimeter and check your Battery, this would be of help.

The Motorcycle is my P220 so wiring would be identical I presume.

All kind of battery comes with minimum warranty period of 12 months from the date of purchase !

I hope Bajaj uses Amaron battery and they are good too. But it seems kinda electrical issues or if it's a deficit battery you can replace it in ASC .

Ask them to check the fuse and electricals as a new battery won't end up this faster !

*And don't fill the fuel tank full !! Man it's very dangerous in many forms.

*Regarding selling it, you can't get a good price anyhow decide wisely.

                Ride safe.

I got it checked with a mechanic yesterday:
                  1. Battery is completely fine.
                  2. I don't use the bike on Sundays and I don't give time for engine to heat up after starting. (this is a concern)
                  3. Bajaj has used exide battery in this vehicle.
                  4. It's mostly some electrical components fault.
                  5. I've connected a mobile holder with charging to my headlight. That might be taking my battery charge. (Another concern)
                  6. Regarding selling - I just said it in the heat of the moment.
                  7. Filling full tank - stopped doing it since Oct.

Get a multimeter and then once you've done the aforementioned check do a draw test. Pull out one fuse at a time and see what's causing the draw.

I'd suggest doing a check anyhow as local mechanics aren't good when it comes to adequately estimating battery life as they often mistake surface charge for battery health.

Anyhow, as far as fuel goes, a full tank prevents rust formation.

It's a regular household multimeter, you can get it at any electrical store for 100 to 200/-

                          Hi Guys
Yesterday I took delivery of New Avenger street 220.
Till the time I reached home, there was no issue.
                          Bike puja n all done.
Evening when I was trying to start the bike, its get started but shuts.
This thing happens for 5-10 mins.
Then I gave a choke and kept it for 2-3 mins, then its started and remain Idle.
                          In morning same thing.
I read the same queries on Quora, answers showing its just idle rpm problem.
I hope that the problem, nothing serious.
I have called showroom guy, he says check it, if it happens more 3-4 times, he will check into this.
Please give me if u have any suggestion to do so.

Start and warm up for 2 minutes. Also, go to service centre and tell them to set the carb.
