Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
Dear All
I have taken Suzuki Access 125 in Jan 2018 after a lot of research and I am not satisfied

.. My Aviator was far better. Problems faced till now
1. Bike doesnt self start ..have to kick 4-5 times and wifey cant do it ...Service guy said you are riding very less thats why battery doesnt get charged. Bike is just used to drop and pick my kid from school. Average running per day is 1-2 km. Shall I get battery changed ?
2. There was no problem of tail -bone pain when I had Aviator and I drove to office 15 km daily. Now with Access 125, I cant drive even more than 1/2 hr
Overall dissatisfied with Access 125 !!
Regards
Sumit

Don't know if the rear shock absorber is adjustable but if it does then u can change the settings to a bit softer.
If there isn't any option available then switch to TVS suspension on rear which is quite exceptional compared to competition.Originally posted by esumitkuamr View PostDear All

Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
Yesterday I went for the first service at 750kms. They have changed engine oil(Suzuki branded manufactured by Castrol & a mineral oil).
And they also charged me for an O ring. I asked them about it & they said it's a steel ring used in service but they didn't say anything about where it is used & what use it has.
Can someone please tell me about that O ring?

could be the oil drain bolt washer (since you say it a steel ring). O rings are generally rubber parts (like the oil filter housing o ring seal)Originally posted by madgunnerbomb View PostYesterday I went for the first service at 750kms. Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
My Access is just over 2 years old. It’s been a great experience so far, but I ordered and have got the confirmation of an Ather 450. I do want to try the electric scooter for a couple of years and so want to sell the Access.
Any idea what kind of money I would get for it? I bought it for 74K, but the price of a new one is 72K now (disc version). How much depreciation should I expect for 2 years for a model like this, which is quite popular and in high demand?

I think you could easily get a decent deal (no low balling) from someone around the range of 45k to 50k, depending on how much your vehicle has run.Originally posted by jaganm View PostMy Access is just over 2 years old. Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
That's right on the money. I had advertised both on olx and facebook marketplace. Olx brought out a lot of shady dealers posing as genuine buyers. I got a lot of enquiries from Facebook, many trying to lowball but finally got a guy who appreciated the condition of the vehicle and the fact that I was able to show a clean service record as well. We finalised the deal at 50K.
It's a little more depreciation than I expected to be honest. But I guess the two wheeler market is brutal. My past two sales with vehicles that were not as popular in the market were even worse (CBR250R - 2.25->1.65 in 1 year, Unicorn 160 90->60K in 1 year). At least here, I had the same depreciation (33%) in 2 years
