Guys, do you think the all-round metal guard (for Access 125) (accessory) is really useful? I had not installed it during delivery and still haven't. Now, everytime somebody sees the scooter, they ask why I didn't install it, it prevents scratches and dents, and so on..

The dealer had quoted a price of ₹2k including fitment charges. The one they had, had chrome finish all over and I really hated it. I had installed an all-round guard earlier in my Scooty Pep+ as it had no separate front fender and any frontal impact would be taken up directly by the front apron. Since the Access has a separate metal front fender, is this needed?

Can somebody advice me whether it is really needed or not? (I can live with the looks).

There's an all black cage available too. You can go for that. I have that on my blue access as i don't like chrome

Thank you. I'll try and get the black one then. I hate chrome as well.

Do you feel that it really protects the body?

Definitely...whereever you park the bike ppl tend to move it around to pack it in, where the guard takes any scratches instead of the paint. A must have in my book

Neither me nor they are able to find out the problem. What can be the reason if overfill is not the culprit?
Can you manually compress the front shocks with the brakes engaged?

We had used Access 125 2015. With updates, there isn't much change to the engine for the latest model other than improved cosmetic look. We never faced any issue with engine such as heating or even vibration! The only issue we had was with start button motor, which had to be replaced after 2 years, but no issue with engine performance. It has good pick up power in comparison to even Activa or Grazia. But, We did have an issue with mileage, we never got over 40, although my father drove within 22-30Km mostly, so if you drive in economy range, you will get 45 or better based on driving conditions and habit.

Access has the least engine noise. .at least the latest one. The only drawback is the stiff ride, which becomes perfect for two up riding (not bouncy like other scoots). If you sit a little forward on the seat, even that gets softened to ok levels. I am getting a consistent mileage of 45 to 47 for the last 3000km, and i ride mostly at 55 to 60 with very short bursts up to 90 almost every day in the city (no throttle wringing)

Hi, I own an Access 125 (2017). It has been with me for the past 3 months and has run around 1200km. Noise levels are very low, and I find the Access to be one of the most refined among scooters; maybe you test rode a badly maintained one. I have never come across overheating issues. The only part in my Access where I've noticed abnormal heating is the headlamp cluster area, due to AHO! [emoji3]

Have ridden my access upto 100km on a single trip, multiple times! absolutely no issues till now (bike is just few months old,2017 BS4 version). Having owned multiple bikes from different brands, Access has given me the mileage closest to the claimed, I am getting 45-50kmpl consistently!

Guys from Chennai, Silver star suzuki service has been closed, where can I find a good service centre for 2nd free service? I am from Ashok nagar area.

Yes, pick up power means it will quickly accelerate and will move around easily even with a pillion rider. The engine will not feel strained.

Guys, the air filter in my access gets clogged every fifteen days. As a result the power is compromised along with the ride quality. Adding to this my brake pads also need adjustment every month. I use the scooter for daily commute and on a week i clock close to 300 KM. The brake drum was changed few months back along with the cable and the shoes but I hate this manual adjustments every time.

The air chamber (rubber time hose pipe) was also changed two years back. Is this the case with fellow owners ? I don't think the activa or jupiter has this issue. This is taking on my nerves now.
