Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
well, you may be driving in bad conditions, to check the replacment or adjustment of your parts, please refer to your manual, those things clear out lots of doubts at a time.Originally posted by Abhi8415 View Post

Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
let me know if you want the contact details of a good local mechanic in hyderabad. i can refer the mech who works only on scooters and has been servicing my dio for almost 10yrs now. as for the brake adjustment, i think for your kind of usage, once a month adjusting it is fine.Originally posted by Abhi8415 View PostGuys, the air filter in my access gets clogged every fifteen days. As a result the power is compromised along with the ride quality. Adding to this my brake pads also need adjustment every month. I use the scooter for daily commute and on a week i clock close to 300 KM. The brake drum was changed few months back along with the cable and the shoes but I hate this manual adjustments every time.
The air chamber (rubber time hose pipe) was also changed two years back. Is this the case with fellow owners ? I don't think the activa or jupiter has this issue. This is taking on my nerves now.
air filter getting clogged every 15 days!! where do you ride man???

More than the required schedule, I change the parts as preventive maintenance.Originally posted by Manan View Postwell, you may be driving in bad conditions, to check the replacment or adjustment of your parts, please refer to your manual, those things clear out lots of doubts at a time.
Yes, I can try your suggested mechanic. My daily commute is from Alwal to hitech city which has a mix of bad roads, smooth tarmac and dusty terrain. But i think this is the issue with the scooter but not the terrain or maybe this vehicle was meant only for groceries and petty rides. Huh !!!
I have never compromised on her, use Motul technosynthese oil, fill it in COCO Indian Oil bunk in hitech city along with the 'addon' fluid. Sigh

air filter getting clogged every 15 days is definitely not normal. i hope the filter is the original one.Originally posted by Abhi8415 View PostMore than the required schedule, I change the parts as preventive maintenance.

anyway the mechanic i am talking about is located at yousufguda, his workshop is called Limra auto works and here is the location:
he does a very good comprehensive service, that includes cleaning and greasing the drive train, carb clean etc.. i'd advice you sit with him and get it fixed. usually let him know a day or two prior so that you can fix a time (preferably at 9am when he opens so that you are out by 11am) and get the work done in your presence.
check with him if you want to replace parts (like air filter etc..) because getting suzuki parts can be a pain sometimes outside the svc.. even better if you can bring the parts yourself.

As it happened
I took the delivery of the access at night time(always take the delivery in the day time and in no hurry) as no other time was suitable and it's my 1st two wheeler so I was way too much exited .
The dealer promise me 10% discount on the helmet but he turned and was forcing me to buy on mrp which I refused clearly and the scooter stalled once or twice on starting and the odometer wire was disconnected so there was no way of knowing how many kms were done, but the good thing was that the tires looked brand new with those little horns( rubber hairs) I don't know what they are called and there was a red line marked on the tires visible soo there was a hope that the scooter wasn't used much
There was no demo shown, they didn't show me the engine oil level,as the delearship was about to be closed and I noticed the headlight was pointing towards the sky they didn't even have the tools to rectify that.
And I had asked for the MRF tyres but they gave me ceat instead, I saw that in the morning anyways I would not have waited another day for the tyres to be changed even if I would have spotted that at night because the new access looks dope

Now the thing that matters how she rides, the access is very very smooth no vibration no acceleration lag and is super stable at speeds of 45-50 I didn't go above that though, the needle rises very fast and without any indication of stress. Suspension does the job pretty well, the seat is big can accommodate 3 easily I won't be doing that to this beauty.
The boot space is huge I mean really huge, it manages to eat my full face studds helmet with ease

It as a tank capacity of 5.6L, when i refueled it took 4.8L the meter cut off at 4.6 still the petrol guy poored more and spilled a little as the delearship had added a liter of petrol to it at the time of delivery. It was a hell of a night for me but since then only bags of happiness and the maroon esteem you can see in the picture was my 1st baby
For more high resolution shots you can always request. Any questions/ suggestions always welcomed.
PS:- it's my 1st such kind of a experience please ignore any spelling mistakes or grammatical errors
Hi, I have just booked a Access and awaiting delivery, I got a studds shifter XL size helmet online but I am unsure whether it will fit the under seat storage of the access. So can you pls help me with the size of your helmet and also does it fit easily or with a little push cause otherwise the top of the helmet gets scratched in a few days...

Not sure about the size of the helmet 😋Originally posted by ayush777rungta View PostHi, I have just booked a Access and awaiting delivery, I got a studds shifter XL size helmet online but I am unsure whether it will fit the under seat storage of the access. I would suggest you to keep the helmet in the bag that you get free with studds to protect from any unwanted scratches, mine got a little scratches though it fits perfectly, the side plastic pocket were the culprit figured out the exact spots 😂 but little too late.
Would not recommend buying from online try the local store and Wear it for comfort level and check if it fits in the boot 😉.

Thanks for replying promptly, I bought the helmet in advance as I dont have any other helmet to carry with me on the delivery day. But I think, I will return the online hemet and will try to borrow someones helmet and take the scooter directly to a helmet shop. Hope you are still happy with the purchase after one year. Just saw the news that Yamaha launching a new 125 cc scooter. Hope its not that much better than the accessOriginally posted by hd_hardikdesai View PostNot sure about the size of the helmet

You won't regret your choice even did a few short rides of 200km it performed great had a smile on my face, effort less pull till 85km being a 90kg guy. You don't expect 100+ speed on a scooter 😂Originally posted by ayush777rungta View PostThanks for replying promptly, I bought the helmet in advance as I dont have any other helmet to carry with me on the delivery day. I did regular service till now but since I have changed to full synthetic and speed fuel won't be following the service interval given in the manual as my general run is around less than300km per month.

Do some work out. Don’t let it aggravate. You are a bulky person, so you should have preferred a tough seat vehicle.the sogginess of access is the culprit i think.Originally posted by esumitkuamr View PostI had bought Access 125 on Jan 1 this year and I have been riding it 15 km one side ..to office..so total commute 30 km daily for 5 days..Absolutely butter smooth and great scooter...zooooooommm....I am 6" tall and 95 kg weight..I am having tailbone pain from last 2-3 days..Is it due to Access soft seat? Go to a nearby seat shop and tell them to add a layer of hard foam..Originally posted by esumitkuamr View Postcorrect kris..can I get access's soft seat changed to a tough one ? I never experienced this kind of pain while riding Aviator110 CC for last 2 years

Re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread
I don't think, that will work. The soggy suspension and soft seat coupled with the seat height and angle are the culprit. You cant fix all. It is normal and good for shorter riders. but you are a tall person, so it wont fit you.Originally posted by esumitkuamr View Postcorrect kris..can I get access's soft seat changed to a tough one ? You should have done some research on this, prior opting for this bike. Do some workouts regularly. it should be fixed. If you stop it, it will come back
