Access is as quicker as Aprilia SR150 till 60-70kmph.
What it lacks is wider gripper tyres.

I own a Siwsh, both have similar underpinning and suspenion setup, Swish and Access both have excellent dynamics, they offer good fun around the corners too, realy stable, the feedback from front end is something no other scooters offer (expect sr150).

As you mentioned, the suspension is quite stiff, which makes it realy stable and not bouncy like most of the scooters out there.

Even at 90kmph + on the speedo, Access/Swish are quite stabe, better than many 125cc motorcycles (my dad owns Hero Glamour).

    Cheers.

Have just crossed 1100 km. I believe that you don't have to stay as low as 45 kmph during running in period. You can go to about 50-60 kmph but not constantly at those speeds. Keep varying speeds between a range rather than constant riding at one speed even if it is within recommended speed limit.

Initial impression is quite good about Access 125. It is quite quick in traffic and whenever I use it, I can't help but feel it was a good decision to move from Scooty Pep+ to this vehicle. On Pep+, it was quite frustrating as not only it had niggles but was also very sluggish in performance. Comfort was not so great as Pep+ bounced up and down few times after hitting any speed breaker! Balance was not too good, tyre grip was not good and braking was pathetic also.

Access has solved all of that. It is fast - many times it can be used to easily overtake majority of motorcycles between 100-150 cc [emoji14] In scooter segment the only thing faster would be Aprilia SR150 which anyway is leagues ahead in performance and handling.

It has fairly firm suspension which is well damped - so it doesn't keep bobbing up and down after hitting potholes or speed breakers even with 2 people (heavy like me also!).
Braking is quite good for its segment (real test will come in monsoon - Scooty brakes used to jam due to rusting and even caused minor mishap due to their abrupt action once for me - this used to happen even after taking pre-monsoon care by servicing the brakes and everything..)

Access makes a good overall package which is unisex - Wife can handle it without getting intimidated and finds it useful in terms of space, height, weight etc...While I find it not too sissy, fast and decently comfortable so I don't get frustrated while riding it like it used to happen whenever I was forced to ride Scooty Pep+.

Sheerly due to experience with Pep+, I became allergic to TVS scooters altogether and switched to Suzuki Access 125 Disc Brake Version. If you want a zippy scooter but don't want Aprilia SR150 then this is right choice for you (Aprilia SR150 is best if you are not looking from utility point of view!).

Access will beat Honda Activa etc surely in performance. Plus, attitude of Honda dealers towards customers is much worse than Suzuki dealers (they are like - customer needs us, not the other way - if you don't buy, we don't give a s*** - a million others will buy anyway).

Including extended warranty, they are covering 5 years - let us see how it goes in long run.

Note: My other two wheeler is TRIUMPH STREET TRIPLE 675 ABS (my XBHP thread is starting with the words "Red Rose") - now you know why I don't want to use Access everyday - and you can also understand how good Access is at least when new!
Same experience when I went to enquire about Activa 125,
They just want me to book it right there.
I asked for a test ride and they said, why test ride sir?
      Its Honda and Activa 👎.
Activa125 is quite expensive compared to Access and definitely not worth the extra money spend.

        BELIEVE IT OR NOT

Coming back from college my fuel tank got dry completely,It was planned for checking the FUEL EFFICIENCY.

I had Reliance petrol of ₹70 on a 1 litre FROOTI bottle
        1 Litre fuel costs ₹74.45

My Suzuki Swish 125 did 68.4 kilometers for 70 rupees petrol.

        Yes no can believe it.

        68.4 kilometers
        UNBELIEVABLE figure.

Thanks for the ownership experience. Please mention the mileage! Anyway I've fixed my mind on access now. My only confusion is whether to go for disc or drum brake model!

And the note made me go 'wowzers' haha xD

Surely go for Disc Brake. Your friendly neighbourhood mechanic might advise against it saying it increases maintenance costs - but please don't compromise on stopping power of Disc Brake. Of course if one has never used disc brake before, then need to learn how to use it correctly.
Solution is NOT to avoid using disc brake and relying on rear drum brake alone for stopping - something that I observe with at least 60-70% riders whenever I look around in crowded traffic!!
Solution is to use disc brake with caution - use 2 fingers and don't suddenly grab the brake lever - be as gradual as possible! Once you have used disc brakes, you will never like drum brakes again.

I am not so sure about 64 kmpl and all that. If you are quite careful with acceleration and braking and are not facing too much start/stop then 50-55 kmpl should be possible. 60kmpl or higher will happen only in more idealistic conditions. In day to day conditions with plenty of traffic 45 kmpl would be much more acceptable expectation.
But I have honestly not bothered to measure it very accurately as our scooter daily runs only 7-8 km.

By the way - one standard phenomenon I have seen with any Indian made motorcycle/scooter servicing is that the mechanics actually play around with carburettor settings and try to wring out maximum average. This results in pick up slightly reducing after first service. One has to tell them again and again not to play around with company settings (which give Access a very peppy behaviour - its main advantage over most rivals - that is taken away by mechanic!!) Same used to happen with my Pulsar 180 DTSi in the past. Mechanics used to screw its settings and as a result my happiness in those days.

Took the delivery of my new access 125 disk,It was a mixed bag experience
                        As it happened
I took the delivery of the access at night time(always take the delivery in the day time and in no hurry) as no other time was suitable and it's my 1st two wheeler so I was way too much exited 😂.
The dealer promise me 10% discount on the helmet but he turned and was forcing me to buy on mrp which I refused clearly and the scooter stalled once or twice on starting and the odometer wire was disconnected so there was no way of knowing how many kms were done, but the good thing was that the tires looked brand new with those little horns( rubber hairs&#128514 I don't know what they are called and there was a red line marked on the tires visible soo there was a hope that the scooter wasn't used much😄
There was no demo shown, they didn't show me the engine oil level,as the delearship was about to be closed and I noticed the headlight was pointing towards the sky they didn't even have the tools to rectify that.
And I had asked for the MRF tyres but they gave me ceat instead, I saw that in the morning 😂 anyways I would not have waited another day for the tyres to be changed even if I would have spotted that at night because the new access looks dope 😍

Now the thing that matters how she rides, the access is very very smooth no vibration no acceleration lag and is super stable at speeds of 45-50 I didn't go above that though, the needle rises very fast and without any indication of stress. Suspension does the job pretty well, the seat is big can accommodate 3 easily 😂 I won't be doing that to this beauty.
The boot space is huge I mean really huge, it manages to eat my full face studds helmet with ease

It as a tank capacity of 5.6L, when i refueled it took 4.8L the meter cut off at 4.6 still the petrol guy poored more and spilled a little🤐 as the delearship had added a liter of petrol to it at the time of delivery. It was a hell of a night for me but since then only bags of happiness 😀 and the maroon esteem you can see in the picture was my 1st baby😁

Hey! I just came across your post and wanted some quick insight into your TVS experience. I am looking to get a new scooter (Access 125 is top of the list), but had a quick look at the Jupiter as well. I've had a Wego that has done about 26k kilometres is 6 years and has been a bit of a nightmare to maintain. I have had issues with mileage, with the bike shutting off in wet conditions and not starting again for a few hours, the electrical systems short circuiting and repeated problems with the forks. At one point, the dipper light switch reversed, with the dipper position causing a high beam and an upper giving me a low beam. I have become quite averse to TVS after this, but have been urged on to look at the Jupiter seriously. Are these some of the problems you faced as well? And would you still recommend me looking at the TVS?
