Anybody have any idea's regarding this ?
Are Ladies footrest & side stand not a part of standard(stock) accessories?
Should I go for the AMC ?
What about the Puncture proof tyres ? My earlier experience with these were not appealing. (I had them on my kinetic Nova 135)

    Please suggest ?

    Thanks.

AFAIK, Accessories are not compulsory. If they are forcing it on you, change your dealer.

Its just another local diesel based polish.. No need for it.. My Dad's scoot is 19 months old.. No issues related to paint fading or chipping..

      AMC : 750/-

There is NOTHING called an AMC for a two wheeler.. Its ONLY for electronic appliances.. Your vehicle is covered by one year warranty for electrical systems, tires and battery and two years for the engine..

      Puncture Resistant tyre : 1600/-

Its actually not a tire replacement.. Its an aftermarket gooey liquid that they apply in the gap between the tire and the tube.. That liquid thing itself costs hardly 500/-.. Don't take it..

      Accessories (Listed below) : 4313/-
      a) Ladies footrest

Comes as standard.. NO extra charge..

      b) Side Stand

      Again, comes as standard..

      c) Mat
      d) 2 Number plates

      Comes as standard..

      e) All round pipe
      f) Front Open Box
      g) Seat cover
      h) Body Cover

There is NO such thing called a COMPANY POLICY.. Its the customers' choice.. The contact number for Suzuki India is 01244170700.. Contact them tomoro morning and ask them what all is STANDARD FITMENT and what all is ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES.. Then verify about the price and ask them if the dealer is an authorized Suzuki Dealership.. Hope these info help you with your purchase..

Thanks for the valuable information. This info is of great help.

I forgot to mention earlier. I contacted Suzuki India through 'Contact Us' on their website. Two days later there was a personal call from Mr. Vipin Roy (Sale Manager North), He said, "Just go and do a booking and send (SMS/email) me the booking number & colour". I exactly did that, but no word from him after that.[20-8-2011].
Hope to get the vehicle in time though.

Although I insisted strongly, yet they refused to accept any booking amount(Rs 2000/- for 2 vehicles).
Don't know why ? They simply said "Chinta Na Karo. (holding a piece of paper) Leave your phone number, we will call you as soon as the vehicle is available as per your request.(As if saying, "You will never get a callback", don't bother)

Talking about the accessories, the reply was, 'that will be sorted-out at the time of delivery.'

                  guys,

                  I own access 125.
                  I have a 3 strange problem,
Water goes in to air filter During raining.. scooter can not power and average half this happened after i gave for servicing to local mechanic
Key has to be turned 10-15 times to get the switch on
                  rear wheel alignment

These 3 problems started recently and giving me trouble as mechanics are not able to cure it and asking me to go to authorized service center which is far away..

do you guys think that authorized service center person can cure this probs?

I don't know but is it a truely a company policy to sell the accessories.

Today I went to book Access 125 for my wife. I paid them the complete amount for the vehicle which is 53600 on road mumbai in cash, but he insisted that I have to pay additioinal 4000 for the accessories. I did not want all the accessories listed and only requested him for few accessories like the all round crash gaurd (1680), seat cover(200), handle grips (150) but he was hell bent to sell me the rest of the accessories too like the helmet, body cover, teflon and undercoating.

I had to cancel the deal and take my money back. This is daylight cheating.

I too was asked to take the accessories package in a HH showroom while booking a splendor, I had an argument and finally talked to the showroom manager and he shouted at the sales person for forcing me to buy the accessories package.

Good for the first 5000 kms or so.... troublesome after that....

After the third service or so the bike keeps stalling at low speeds, whenever braked at signals, speed breakers etc......

Yes, the ride and handling are better than activa, but the stalling problem screws it all.... and it seems only temporarily curable by the "idle speed adjustment screw".... it crops up after every servicing.... i think i just have to learn to live with it......

So far there is any major fuss in my dad access as for now. Once the choke cable got stuck & replaced under warranty. Now we are closing to 25k mark .

                              SUZUKI Accessss 125

completed around 13k KM in one year.As far as the overall package is concerned it is wonderful bike except for a some problem which wont solved.

                              Pros
                              1. Acceleration - cruising is effortless upto 70.
                              2. Engine power - SUZUKI trademark is there and no sound from engine.
                              3. Mileage - decent for gearless scooter it gives me around 42-45 .
                              4. Design - doesn't create any vibes at 70 and quality of plastic is good.

                              Cons
                              1. Service - Very poor in Chennai(ABT) and mechanics find it difficult to address the problem in scooter
                              2. Brake - it should be improved so panic braking at 70 doesn't give any weird results.
                              3. Self starter & Kick Starter - My self start stopped working from the 4th month of purchase .Complained to service center and Suzuki still no result.
                              4. Center stand - very difficult due to the weight

Recently did a 300 Km from Ariyalur to chennai in 530 hours due to circumstances.I was after reaching home.Had no problem throughout the journey.

                                ^^ 530hrs for a 300 km journey! It must be 5hrs & 30mins. typo error, I guess.
