Very common experience with handas... i mean Hondas. Don't care about customers, care only for sales (and in your case, loan!) Congrats on your Access purchase. I had suggested Access to my sister in law, and I feel good reading all the reviews here, that I didn't make any mistake in the recommendation! BTW, Access has the largest (correct me if I am wrong) fuel tank of 6.5 liters, where others have only 4-5 liters. You can always keep 3-4 2 lit petrol bottles in the dicky for added capacity!

Storing petrol in such a manner is VERY RISKY as the bottles could leak or worst case scenario, BLOW UP thanks to the heat generated inside the compartment by the TOASTY WARM engine.. Besides, its Illegal to carry petrol with you in canisters or bottles, for which when caught, the possessor could face up to 2 years RIGOROUS IMPRISONMENT for SMUGGLING, THEFT and TAX EVASION..

Why is such a long waiting time? IBAYs are delivering on spot! Check at Kukatpally or Somajiguda Showrooms.

You will find such guys almost every where! not just at Honda.
But true...At most of the Honda showrooms...I dont like the attitude of the people (overconfident on Activa).

And, yes it has class highest Fuel capacity, Power and torque figures.

True..The Storage compartment does get too hot, But so does the petrol tank which is almost at the same place of the storage area. But there is front storage accessory for additional Rs 900/-.

                Intro

ooopss... thats my first post.... Anyway short intro
I am chandra.... Profession:SE Very Amateur in biking

I am loyal communter from vadapalani to Karapakkam(around 25 KM) thru Bus... Due to the metro rail project, traffic grew very intense in my route taking 2 to 2.30 hours for reaching the office.Hence, decided to buy a bike So rounded off to CB Unicorn for the mileage,Engine performance,Style and recommendation from my Friends. So visited two to three Honda showrooms, all replied the exact dialogue u will get after 4 months or we stopped taking booking order for the unicorn. As my First love went to Unicorn so thought off buying after 6 months or a year off.So thought of buying a gearless scooter for the entire family and mostly for my use.So again went for Honda.Enquired about Activa,Aviator oopsss again the same reply-75 days u have to wait(Never thought the bike would sell like a Chicken biryani )... Then enquired about the scooter of all the brand. Then my friend went to take a delivery in Suzuki showroom-GS150 and when i glanced around i found my baby-Suzuki Access 125cc.So started enquiring about the Vehicle and asked my parents for booking Black color.... they said a No for Black Color... So booked Metallic Sonic Sliver in ABT showroom,Nandanam... Anyway its my first bike so keeping my fingers crosssed untill i get my bike.

                        Suzuki Access 125 Owner's Report

                        Overall Review:

                        The bike itself: 3/5
                        Suzuki service: 1/5

                        Hardware (the bike itself):

                        Telescopic Shocks:Engine Power/Speed:Reliability: 2/5

As mentioned above, I have had a lot of problems with the engine stalling. I am sure this only requires some small adjustments in the carburetor or fuel lines, but the dealership mechanics have not been able to resolve it.

                        Brakes:Fuel Efficiency:Fuel Tank: 5/5

For a scooter, having 6.5 L in the tank is great. I am able to travel much further without stopping for petrol.

                        Tires:Servicing:

                        Availability of Servicing Centers: 2/5

There are only 4 Suzuki dealerships in Delhi, with a few others in Faridabad, Gurgaon, etc . And despite the lack of options, they make their services even more restrictive in only servicing the vehicle at their convenience, not yours. (See customer service).

Customer Service of Service Centers:Servicing itself:Availability of parts:

                                my scooter

I am going to own a new Suzuki Access125 This week.
Previously I had Kinetic Honda 1987 and then Honda Activa 2001
This time I wanted to buy Activa but had a very bad experience with Activa Dealer at Ambala city SD Honda (SD trading co.)
The dealer promised me delivery of the vehicle with in a week if I deposit full amount in advance.
I did so and the dealer called me to take delivery of Activa on 6th day of booking. But he demanded INR 2900 for the accessories that he told me are compulsory with the Activa.
I refused to buy those accessories and dealer refused delivery.
I contacted to customer care of Honda Activa by thru their site but they did not reply. Then I contacted them telephonically, They told me that accessories are optional and not compulsory.
But They did not take any action against the dealer.
at last I had to take refund my money from the dealer.
