Hello Friends i have been using the Suzuki Access for around 2 years and had covered 11000 kms without any problem and even did a small tour of 1000kms on ghats without any hassle, as of now everything is fine and fit, i feel the bike to be slight less responsive, i changed the engine oil, replace the engine oil filter and did all the necessary things but missing the crisp, please do help me what to do my dear xbhpians.

i think of using 10w 30 castrol full synthetic engine oil + K&N air filter + Iridium spark plug with high power cable guys please do help with your suggestions and views on this up gradation!

the same is the problem with my friends father, all he did was chopped the seat cushion by around 0.5inch and re stitched a new cover on to it, the best possible way to reduce the height i think, give it a try. reducing the height of the shock absorber is not a vital thing to go for.

          re: Suzuki Access125 / Swish125 ownership thread

          Hi Guys,

I've one basic query for Access users. I read on some other website that when Access is taken out during rains the engine stalls!!!
And it stalls due to the fact that the rain water enter from back wheel to the air filter which causes the engine to stall and need to replace the air filter itself which is around 100+ bucks every time. Is this true?

Please inform me whether this problem exists in Access or not which would enable me to buy or not.

          Thanks,
          Ramki

            Hello all!

            As everyone else,
Access is the scooter that ill be using from now on.
My dad sold my 2008 HH Splendor+ and bought the Suzuki Access.
            4 days old. clocked 180+kms.

            Spot Delivery. No waiting.
Over a couple of dozen scooters (both Access and Swish) were waiting to be sold at
            Malik Suzuki, Tolichowki, Hyderabad.
            We chose the Access Black.

Im Immensely satisfied with the scooter, its performance and Handling. Fuel Efficiency, Ill have to live with it anyway.

Will be riding it slow until the first servicing.
            Havn't crossed 50kmph till now.

any more suggestions to get a better FE ?

              +1 similar figures here.

Although I maintained speed around 50 kmph on highways with a pillion. Opened throttle every now & then to get that peppy feeling. Average has been 43+ kmpl after 3y4m with 8800+ kms on ODO. In city I was always first off the block but then constant 50-60 speed. With cautious riding one can get better mileage from city rides.

Check the air-filter, I had a torn air filter connecting duct. I had them(air-filter & connecting duct) replaced and mind comparatively less expensive than Honda parts. Rode 70+ kmph with my mom as pillion after that. My sister owns Honda Dio btw.

If you ask me full synthetic engine oil + K&N air filter + Iridium spark plug are just overkill for Access. Do it if you really want to. However, (don't have owner's manual with me) I believe Suzuki recommend 20w40 grade engine oil. If so then only go with 10w40 or 15w40 for better results.

Have you tried any semi-synths yet?

Does anybody fitted tubeless/tuff-up tubes to Access? My rear tyre has worn off more compared to the front one.

Did anyone find crystallisation on anode of the battery?
I've parking Access a lot recently, battery drains due to leakage it seems. When I opened floor mat I found crystallisation on anode; hence unable to unscrew anode screw.

              Edit:
Suzuki recommend 10w30 grade engine oil. If you happen to go on long journeys often then go with 10w40 grade to cushion extra heat without breaking.

i hope i can post my ownership review on my suzuki swish here
                .

purchased this bike as a second bike to go to nearby shops
as i cant carry things on the bike
i purchased the swish along with duke 200
                .

i bought the blue and black combo
                which looks absolutely stunning
                .
now coming to the experience with the showroom
its true suzuki has the worst customer support and ilitrate sales person
had almost 3 fights during the purchase regarding
                the registration amount and accessories
                .
                now coming to the bike
the bike feels very light compared to access
and the bike feels peppy and easy to ride in the traffic
                .
now coming to the problems i faced
the bike tends to go towards one side if i leave the handle
later got this sorted in the 1st service
the bike is returning a mileage around 40 km/lts
and i guess it more only

and the bike stalls every now and then during idling
so i tuned the carb on my own
by adjusting the air/fuel ratio and idling screw
                .
now the bike revs more freely and the pick up increased
                .
over all the bike is nice
but very poor service back up and customer treatment in the service centers
guys the visiblity of rear view mirror isn't good enough is there any better option for my scooter
colour of my scooter is white

What body(panels/covers) colour has to do with mirror incompetence?

To get proper mirror rear-view one need to extend either vertically/horizontally; however esthetically displeasing esp horizontal extension.

Replaced stock battery with Amaron pro bike rider ABR-PR-12APBTX50 with 24m free warranty & 24m pro-rata warranty. It cost me Rs 1300/- and Amaron retailer is close(3km) to my house.

Chrome guard frame for body & mud guard which I bought from SVC(RajKumar Road. BLore) has lost its lusture. After several incidents of scraping/sliding more than 30% of the surface is rusted. I'm planning to paint it with Aluminum based paint. Should've opted for black frame for my grey Access.

Did anyone try to fit any other tyres on Access apart from stock?

Could any one say the top speed of access? In my bike i couldnt go beyond 72kmph. My friends told me that in his activa he ridden beyond 80kmph. could that be true?

I checked the specification. It said top speed is 90. becos i am 85kg of weight, it doesnt go faster?

another issue is when i close the throttle, speed reduces faster, feel like i am braking, feeling uncomfortable. any clutch problem?. i am new to gearless bikes

Speedo showed once 95kmph on my Access and I am 85kg +.

It is normal to loose the speed when you close the throttle and especially with small engine from Access it is quite visible.

Access is amazingly smooth at speeds above 70kmph

95 can be speed error. What ever it was the speed. Scooter was amazingly smooth and silent.

It has done 17000 kms in 4 and half years, it is hardly maintained btw. :P

All services during first year are for Access125.

Guys my uncles access has some prob... When you start it from 0kmph, engine revs too much and then only it starts to move.. Once speed is up, no problems. This is irritating in stop and go traffic. Taking hell lot of time to move from stop.... Whats the problem??? Transmission??
