    Perhaps

    - variator rollers
    - transmission belt

    What's the ODO reading?
How long has it run since last service?

Get the transmission inspected, it could be some issue with
          1. the variator rollers (like flat spots or using wrong roller weights if it was replaced or did they miss putting in all the rollers back during service )
          2. the clutch springs (especially the big or as some say the torque spring)
          3. worn clutch plates/bell.
check a cpl of posts back, where i have posted a video on inspecting the transmission.

This is the first time I'm replacing Oil-Filter. I came to know there is oil-filter for Access125 & check the above videos. Should be easy to understand once you open Oil-Filter cap.

Big O-Ring : should go on the Oil-Filter Cap
Small O-Ring : should go on to small orifice through which oil is pumped into oil filter.

I saw Suzuki 10w30 (JASO MB claimed not certified), it was around 235/- if I remember correctly.

PS: Take note of torque required for nuts & bolts.

                1. Do you even own the motorcycle/scooter you claim that you do on your profile?
                2. Is @anilkumar9 a fake ID that you use to harass xBHP users whom you don't like, through PMs & Posts with cooked up queries?
                3. Why do you delete all your posts?

Because of your shitty attitude & sick brain genuine issues/queries go unanswered on the site.

                • Re: Suzuki Swish 125cc

Few months back I bought Swish and it was very smooth and pick up was nice and I was able to take speed to 40kms very soon around quater throttle. But after first service, the pickup was horrible and that in full throttle it was going till 40kms in doubles and when going alone atleast more than half the throttle is needed to reach 40kms. When complained to service people they claimed to have adjusted the scooter (I doubt whether they did anything) and telling it is runing fine and I can come back again if the problem presits. Problem was still there so I adjusted the carburator myself and now it is much better but still not like how it was used to go earlier.

Another thing noticed was if I suddenly increase the throttle and then decrease it immediately then some noise comes from the silencer and engine turns off.

What might be the problem? Need to clean the carburator and then adjust the settings in it?

This is my first post, wanted to write a review of my first scooter instead started complaining about it.

Update: As no response was coming from here, I went ahead and cleaned the carb using with a local mechanic, he also claims dust was there in the carb but what I was able to see was some black thing ont he white float. He refused to adjust the air screw telling factory set position is the correct one (which he anyway spoiled), I myself did and presently it seems to be working good. Only thing is I am not sure whether it is optimum or not. But it goes more than 85kms in the speedo meter, no gps so don't know whether it is accurate or not.

                        Hi there,

I Own an Access 125(from the first batch), December 2007 to be precise. It was my father's. After his demise it is being used by me almost all the time. Company serviced and all things clear. Actual odometer reading would be 60k or more because, once when i did a Bangalore- Kochi the meter got stuck and for almost one year i dint change it. As of now the vehicle is being used by me to commute to office(around 45km to and fro). Since it was pretty long that i gave it for service, i gave it for service in Signature Suzuki in Kannur.
                        Problems faced were,
                        a) Front suspension was almost not working and fork oil leakage.
                        b) Handlebar and front end vibrated a lot and cone was the trouble maker.
                        c) Exhaust note was pretty disturbing when there is a slight uphill road.
                        d) Acceleration was less.

then all the small niggles which creeped in due to long service time.

After discussing with the advisor and making him understand the troubles, he gave a quote for the repair and approximate time of delivery. Out of which the quote was pretty correct, but delivery was three days after the promised time. After shelling out Rs.4000/- the suspension is still the same or pretty worse. I am very attached to the vehicle since it was my father's, and i really don't let anyone else ride it. Next week i am taking it again to the service center and ask them to repair it for free or else i will definitely shoot a mail to Suzuki(hope it helps).

Attaching the bill given. After all the parts mentioned i guess it should be working fine unless the parts have not really gotten into my vehicle.

Also, this might be the dumbest question you have heard probably, but i am going to ask anyway. I usually ride around 50kmph, very rarely i have crossed 80kmph long back when scooter was in pristine condition. But now when i throttle up, its just the exhaust note increasing rather than speed. Speed increases, but at a very gradual pace and also it feels like the engine is stressed up after 50kmph. Does the scooter learned to be at 50kmph only? Has its ability to go in higher speeds reduced due to my riding style?

I feel like a total dumb ass now.lol

Looking at the bill, your front end issues (suspension/coneset etc.) should have been fixed.
Now coming to the last part of your query..
Since you have mentioned the scoot has done over 60k km, it is time the clutch shoes, springs and variator rollers are replaced. Or have you replaced any of these parts in the past ? Their life is around 40k km if the scoot was ridden sanely.
Also make it a point to have the valve clearances adjusted to the correct specs.
The symptoms you mention, like the revs rise up (i.e. as you put exhaust note increasing) but there is no proportional increase in acceleration clearly indicates worn out rollers or clutch components.

I suggest you go thru the below resources to understand a little more on the clutch/variator of the scooter.

As for 50kmph speed limiter, might be due to the 20w40 engine oil ( used in their motorcycles ) . Has happened with me too ! Next time , take your own 10w30 to be put instead !

For the engine oil, there are TWO filters. One is the normal Round filter and the other called " Crank Oil Filter " which is just to the right of the oil filter. This needs to be inspected and cleaned periodically....
The RTR oil filter is a match for the Access oil filter and can be used....

For the sake of pickup a normal (18mm)Slide Carbureter is used . In original Suzuki Step through scooter with larger wheel and Disc brakes, BS 26 CV carburetor is used..The service manual for Suzuki Step through 125cc scooter is available freely on line...only the engine is same as in Access..
