    Pros
    1. Acceleration - cruising is effortless upto 70.
    2. Engine power - SUZUKI trademark is there and no sound from engine.
    3. Mileage - decent for gearless scooter it gives me around 42-45 .
    4. Design - doesn't create any vibes at 70 and quality of plastic is good.

    Cons
    1. Service - Very poor in Chennai(ABT) and mechanics find it difficult to address the problem in scooter
    2. Brake - it should be improved so panic braking at 70 doesn't give any weird results.
    3. Self starter & Kick Starter - My self start stopped working from the 4th month of purchase .Complained to service center and Suzuki still no result.
    4. Center stand - very difficult due to the weight

Recently did a 300 Km from Ariyalur to chennai in 530 hours due to circumstances.I was after reaching home.Had no problem throughout the journey.

Kodambakkam.... I dont mind going there to rectify the problem... Once approached Roonwal Suzuki,Tondiarpet worked fine for 2 days but after that so still the problem persists.......... Suzuki Access ratio is heavily increasing in chennai so mechanics dont have a ear to hear our problem worst service nowdays Is there any timings followed in Jain suzuki for giving service?

There is no specific timing there. Better call them before visiting the service centre.

So far I went with SVC oil. Will switch to Semi-Synth, preferably Motul 15w50 or Shell 10w40 Semi-Synth. Recommended grade in manual is 10w30 Mineral.
            I guess nobody has ventured into Full-Synth in scooter segment as far Access is concerned on XBHP;

please share with us the experience if you're the first to attempt..

              My Owership Experience

              Bought on : 8th June 2010
              Bought for : my Dad

              Comparing Access with Activa
              - both are in the same price segment
              - Access delivers more power with 124cc displacement
              - Access has telescopic front suspension; smoother on rough roads
              - Activa is equipped with tuff-up types while Access isn't.
              - Activa's has dominated road presence and Access's is slowy catching up
              - for given road conditions and riding style Activa(new-make) will always give more mileage compared to Access in same conditions. More likely by 5 to 10% more mileage.
              - acceleration from stand still in Access is breathtaking and exhilarating, thanks to CVT engine.
              - both engines are well refined and demands less maintenance.

Note: You can't expect 100% genuine service from any SVC! Be alert and take extra precautions at every step when making decision relating to scooter. Know the scooter personally.

              Mileage:
Rode about 4500 kms on Access in Bengaluru before officially giving it to my dad; it gave 43.xx kmpl mileage on average.
Once covered 300 kms in 7 hours with two short breaks in between with a pillion; average speed was hovering around 45-50 kmph; mileage then was about 50 kmpl. Note that most part of the journey was on NH4.

              TopSpeed:
I crossed 80 on several occasions. Refrained from going further. However, once when I was returning from a wedding in my friend's Fiat-Punto on NH4, three teenage kids on a single Access were riding it around 90 kmph for many a minutes without any helmet!! scary..

              PS:
              1. I agree breaks are not proportionally fit to handle sudden breaks. I even had an accident(which cost me a minor right hand wrist fracture and bruises on body) near a curve(sandy road). On hard breaking you often notice jerks before the scooter comes to halt. It's the nature of drum brakes; can't help it. They can come up with front disc brake if necessary.
              2. An option to go for tuff-up tyres will be nice.

                Guys,

Yesterday I went to book an Access at Palakkad, Kerala for my Dad.
Showroom guys quoted a price of 529xx including Insurance.

But in the Suzuki website OTR price given is 51456 Rs.
So I called them today to check this.

                They replied it is
                OTR price + Insurance=529xx
                51456 + 14xx =529xx

My question is whether OTR price is calculated ater adding Insurance, right?

Ignoring the new looks, there is no difference between Access and Swish...
Swish is 1.5 cm taller and 5kgs lighter...

first successful cosmetic change from Suzuki India in Scooter segment...

                    I'm disappointed...

Reducing 5 kgs is not a minor change. We can expect better pickup and FE.

Looks like a TVS Wego... very bad design IMO.. instead would have increased the radius of the wheel and lot of suspension to encounter potholes.. And a very bad marketing move instead they should be ready with 150CC,200CC,250CC segment.

And the service centers are working very hard due to increase in a lot of Access125 in road... so it is only going to deteriorate the image further.

After a very long period my problem with Self start was rectified Thanks to services done by Roonwal Suzuki motors Now nearing 15k in 15 months...

                          Valve clearance.

                          Hey guys
How much is the valve clearance for inlet and outlet valves for access125 ? It's nowhere mentioned in d Manuel unlike most companies do.

                            adjusting seat height of access

                            Hello everyone,
I have recently bought Suzuki access 125 for my mother. My mom is still learning and she is facing difficulty in riding it due to the seat height (mom is 5 feet or may be little less). Is there any way to reduce the seat height ? Someone suggested that shockers can be adjusted to lower the seat height.
                            I am loving my NS

                                hey guys
i hope i can post my ownership review on my suzuki swish here
                                .

purchased this bike as a second bike to go to nearby shops
as i cant carry things on the bike
i purchased the swish along with duke 200
                                .

i bought the blue and black combo
                                which looks absolutely stunning
                                .
now coming to the experience with the showroom
its true suzuki has the worst customer support and ilitrate sales person
had almost 3 fights during the purchase regarding
                                the registration amount and accessories
                                .
                                now coming to the bike
the bike feels very light compared to access
and the bike feels peppy and easy to ride in the traffic
                                .
now coming to the problems i faced
the bike tends to go towards one side if i leave the handle
later got this sorted in the 1st service
the bike is returning a mileage around 40 km/lts
and i guess it more only

and the bike stalls every now and then during idling
so i tuned the carb on my own
by adjusting the air/fuel ratio and idling screw
                                .
now the bike revs more freely and the pick up increased
                                .
over all the bike is nice
but very poor service back up and customer treatment in the service centers
