In fact customer care of Honda is supporting the Dealers only.Originally posted by atul.kumar View PostI am going to own a new Suzuki Access125 This week.
Previously I had Kinetic Honda 1987 and then Honda Activa 2001
This time I wanted to buy Activa but had a very bad experience with Activa Dealer at Ambala city SD Honda (SD trading co.)
The dealer promised me delivery of the vehicle with in a week if I deposit full amount in advance.
I did so and the dealer called me to take delivery of Activa on 6th day of booking. But he demanded INR 2900 for the accessories that he told me are compulsory with the Activa.
I refused to buy those accessories and dealer refused delivery.
I contacted to customer care of Honda Activa by thru their site but they did not reply. Then I contacted them telephonically, They told me that accessories are optional and not compulsory.
But They did not take any action against the dealer.
at last I had to take refund my money from the dealer.
Honda customer care does not reply to customers' email or query. \Hnda customer care even hides its toll free contact number from the public and customers.
Here I am giving Honda scooter's customer care toll free contact number 1800 11 3434 ( toll free for BSNL and MTNL)

If you compare spec to spec between Activa and Access, you will find that Access if far better option and real value for money product. There are many experts in xBHP who can easily analyse and churn these products to there bones.Originally posted by atul.kumar View PostSuzuki Access comes with side stand and foot rest as standard so it is cheaper to Activa by 700 rupees.
I have to sell my Avenger 200 for Access. But now after riding Access for 100 kms, I am thinking to use Access for touring as well (Before selling my Avy I planned to rent a R15 or Bullet whichever will be available ).
I find Access reliable, controlled and balanced.
Activa is also a good product, but, then with Access's presence in market, Activa should be priced at least 8000 lesser than Access.

My Suzuki Access is 8500 KMs old.
I bet everyone will fall in love for its acceleration. I travel 7 -10 KM stretch on highway everyday and she touches 80 Kms/Hr easily. Stable and confident. No wobbling or vibrations at 80. For City commuting, i should say she glides @ 40 - 50 Kms/Hr.
Mileage is not very impressive but decent. I get an average of 39 [well it actually fluctuates between 36 and 42] always full tank.
Ride is better than my sisters Scooty Pep. I have no idea of other gearless scooters. Thanks to the Telescopic suspensions. The riding position is very comfortable for lazy cruising.
The Bad part is the Brake. Wears out very sooner. I used to get it tightened once in a week at local mechanic shop. For manoeuvring through the traffic she is not the right candidate since the brakes are not that responsive for that 125 CC power. Suzuki must bring in the Disk Brakes as like Honda aviator.
Likes :
1. Looks of a classic scooter.
2. Power and Pick Up.
3. Comfort.
4. Stability at high speed.
Dislike :
1. Seating position or the Handle bar position. Am not sure which make me feel uncomfortable while manoeuvring through the vehicles in the traffic.
2. Brake. The worst for such a powerful machine.
Overall
A Perfect scooter for office commuting and Cursing.
PS:Stopped using Access 2 months back and gave it to my wife since gearless scooters are not the kinda machine I like to drive everyday.Am I a Gay?
B'Coz nowadays I love riding this young male [pulsar135].

can someone please upload a photo of the front storage accessory..just want to see how it looks like..thanks.Originally posted by riazmomin View PostWhy is such a long waiting time? IBAYs are delivering on spot! Check at Kukatpally or Somajiguda Showrooms.
You will find such guys almost every where! not just at Honda.
But true...At most of the Honda showrooms...I dont like the attitude of the people (overconfident on Activa).
And, yes it has class highest Fuel capacity, Power and torque figures.
True..The Storage compartment does get too hot, But so does the petrol tank which is almost at the same place of the storage area. But there is front storage accessory for additional Rs 900/-.

re-bore charges for suzuki access-125Originally posted by Anusha125 View PostOverall Review:
The bike itself: 3/5
Suzuki service: 1/5
Hardware (the bike itself):
Telescopic Shocks:Engine Power/Speed:Reliability: 2/5
As mentioned above, I have had a lot of problems with the engine stalling. I am sure this only requires some small adjustments in the carburetor or fuel lines, but the dealership mechanics have not been able to resolve it.
Brakes:Fuel Efficiency:Fuel Tank: 5/5
For a scooter, having 6.5 L in the tank is great. I am able to travel much further without stopping for petrol.
Tires:Servicing:
Availability of Servicing Centers: 2/5
There are only 4 Suzuki dealerships in Delhi, with a few others in Faridabad, Gurgaon, etc . And despite the lack of options, they make their services even more restrictive in only servicing the vehicle at their convenience, not yours. (See customer service).

Suzuki Access 125 Buying Experience
Hello everybody,I booked 2 Suzuki Access (Silver) on 20-8-2011.
The showroom people gave the following details
Price : Rs. 52,523/-
How ?
Basic Price : 45160/-
Temp. No. : 200/-
Lamination : 500/-
AMC : 750/-
Puncture Resistant tyre : 1600/-
Accessories (Listed below) : 4313/-
a) Ladies footrest
b) Side Stand
c) Mat
d) 2 Number plates
e) All round pipe
f) Front Open Box
g) Seat cover
h) Body Cover
My request was that,I didn't want
1) Lamination
2) Puncture proof tyre(s)
3) Accessories
4) may or may not opt for AMC
but their response was negative and said it was against company policy.
Anybody have any idea's regarding this ?
Are Ladies footrest & side stand not a part of standard(stock) accessories?
Should I go for the AMC ?
What about the Puncture proof tyres ? My earlier experience with these were not appealing. (I had them on my kinetic Nova 135)
Please suggest ?
Thanks.A Bird in the Bush is Worth, 2 in the Hand, causePleasure lies in Pursuit, not in Possession
