        Speculations are about that it will be difficult for Jorge to compete at Valencia as well.

        Some tweets & Retweets by David Emmett of Motomatters:

        Exactly. RT @RaulSantam: Staying in Moto2 #Marquez will lose the chance to get a factory bike for '13 when contracts will be renegociated
        RT @motopodmartin: Re MM93 to MotoGP: plus if he does win Moto2 this year he can't exactly improve on that next year. LCR best bet
        @josecarbia I think he will ride worse in Moto2. In MotoGP they will be hard on him, force him to learn more quickly. Always better.

          So basically he doesn't have a nail on that finger. Ouch!! again. Very unfortunate.
          Get well soon #99 (will he go back to 99 or take another number after giving up #1)

            True. It is not a gentleman's game. I don't want to watch friends racing. Rivalry is always good for racing.

              somehow I feel that its more to do with having a common enemy than anything else...,

              Jlolly might miss valencia as well....

              P.S. BSB highly recommended....."hopper" & "I,superbiker" sparked my interest....then I got hooked..., followed the later half of the season..., fierce racing & awesome tracks....

              Real-time updates/pics from guys going to sepang is most welcome....

              • I dont think JLO will be able to race next weekend-every-time he applies pressure on that hand it will feel like that wounded tip is going to burst open!talking from experience here.

                • Well done Casey. The Master of Drift. It's really an Art to steer through the rear. I have tried practicing this when I was a kid riding the stroker -100's & RD's in the late 80's & early 90's often getting thrown out. King Steve Baker was good at it with the TZ750. Then Doohan / Gary McCoy were good at it with the 500's. Sad thing in this form, that not many appreciate a true natural talent like Casey & look more into his -ve side rather than the +ve he offers as a racer.

                  • Its good to see some sportsmanship away from the tracks, On track race like rivals.. but off the track, dont be *****ing arnd! I like that...

                    On JL injury.. he got his finger beneath the bars.. Y not a lever/finger protector these bikes? is it not done for aerodynamic reason? Rossi @ motegi, had a crash because he hit Spies M1 with his brake lever, the lever protector can avaoid that too,
                    * protect the rider's fingers
                    * Protect the levers from accidental touch in close racing, atleast in turn 1 of lap 1
                    * protect the levers during crash
                    * better aerodynamics?

                    EDIT: teams for moto2 amd moto3 announced

                    Mahindra is in moto3 next year too.. Ofcourse, after a solid show @ PI there is no surprise that they are in.

                    Looks like WTR-ten10 racing has pulled out..

Hope his Team gets a crack @ Moto-2 & knowing him, I know they can last the entire season & beyond with some decent results. Hoping to see them on the Grid.

                        Hmm, their name doesn't seem to be on the above list. I would love to see Rajini on Moto2. Not enough sponsors like he said in a PTR video.

                        On another note, the last date for the MotoGP CRT probables is December 31, 2012.

                                reading this you realize that motogp is altogether a different ball game...,

                                I knew my hand was sore after yesterday afternoon, because it was hurting when I was riding. It is definitely a lot more painful riding a MotoGP bike than it was the British Superbike, mainly due to the immense braking forces on the GSV-R. I woke up just before six this morning and I had quite a bit of pain so I tried to loosen it up and bend it, but that wasn't an option. The screws and the plates in the finger have come apart and there's just no movement in the knuckle at all, so I cannot bend the finger. If I get any further damage to the injury it could result in amputation and certainly don't want that! My Doctor is totally confident that he can fix it, but I just haven't been able to rest it and give it the proper time needed to repair it over the last six weeks. I thought it would be fine to ride this weekend and had every hope of it working, but I didn't expect the amount of force that goes into riding a GP bike would cause such a problem.
