Italy didn't sleep last night - Ferrari, Rossi, Ducati, Dovi and Ian!

      Neither did I

It is after 10 years that there has been no Spaniard on the podium in any of the three classes, and quite a few years since an all Italian podium in MotoGP.

Who do they go to if Pedrosa isn't riding?

Will they give a shot to Miller at the factory bike seeing that he has been promoted to MotoGP directly? Will they give to Hayden for one last time? Will they be able to coax and bring back Casey? Or will they put Aoyoma on the seat? Or still crazier, will they pronounce Crutchlow?

Wow, so many possibilities. Yet God only knows what Nakamoto thinks!

it would be good to see Miller on the Repsol.

          but very unlikely.

really hope Pedrosa is back after COTA.

What a cracker of a race we had last night!!! Ducati is back and is very competitive. GP15 is hardly a month old, a few races more and we should see it improving further. Feel sad for Dani Pedrosa. Should Casey return to MotoGP this will be best ever season. Casey has already asked to race Suzuka 8 hours. Lets hope Honda is able to convince him.

I guess field is lot more competitive than he raced last time. He should enjoy the fight with Marc, Rossi, JL and Ducati twins.

Cant wait for next round to begin. Good times are back in MotoGP.

Only thing that soured last nights experience was those 2 idiots hosting "Inside Track". I prefer to watch the pit lanes and pit babes, instead of listening to them. Hope Star Sports airs MotoGP too now that cricket world cup is over.

                AFAIK

Ten Sports has signed a deal for exclusive TV rights for MotoGP in India. So spending around 7k for a Video Pass from MotoGP for HD videos or Live Streaming are the only credible option available currently.

Ten Sports is only telecasting it on the HD channel apparently.

Currently Youtube has many videos of the last few laps of the race, watch it before DOrna take it down!!!

Ten Sports is hosting on both channels, HD and non-HD. I checked both the channels yesterday. Until last year they didn't have ads on HD channel, and this year they have ruined the experience.

I shot a mail to [email protected] last night asking them to keep this crap out of HD channel. As if they would listen.

And I think they didn't even show post race interviews of the three riders....

Some are mentioning Stoner, although Stoner would really be a replacement for Marquez imho, if ever that was needed. But after all his proclaims that MotoGP stinks because of too much promotion work off track and electronics on track (championed by his employer btw...) it seems unlikely. If we are to believe him.

If it is just a brief absence by Pedrosa, they could use a test rider for a few races I think.
If it is something longer, they could draft Crutchlow to complete the season (he has the potential to steal points to Ducatis and Yamahas, without interfering too much with MM93).

If Pedrosa retires, then one of the two most coveted saddles in MotoGP would be up for grabs...

Another thing that i remembered Drive 7 Aspar team has lost their main sponsor - Drive 7. So currently they are just Aspar, Jorge Martinez is said to be working around the clock to find sponsorship in Spain, but that is easier said than done. If no sponsor comes on board, then that would be the end of Aspar in MotoGP and would leave Nicky Hayden and Eugene Laverty without a job and looking for a ride. Considering that both are currently riding Honda's, one of them might get a promotion, it would be better than having Aoyoma i guess.

I feel that Crutchlow getting a promotion will not sit well with the LCR Honda team. They will have to settle for a second rate rider (or maybe they'll try to get Bradl back, Lucio Cecchinello really likes Bradl). Hayden is the one i'd really like to see in that seat but I don't think that is going to happen. The other option is Miller (who's already on an HRC contract), but MM would almost certainly block Miller (or maybe he won't, just to toy with him).
