Yes, you're right. The Honda lacked corner grip, but only at that track temperature. Otherwise under a different condition the extra hard were working as well.

You said they took a gamble. It wouldn't have been a gamble if they had only one tyre working for them. It was actually a gamble because both tyres were working but considering the track temprature, Honda choose to go with the hard option (instead of extra hard).

Rossi's mechanic - Alex Briggs just said that Suzuki has the loudest exhaust note in the paddock followed by Ducati.
GSXRR's very beautiful to watch and to listen as well.

@Makky - You do have a soft spot for the returning Japs. I can tell you, that you give us more updates about Suzuki than any other motorsports website I know

With KTM coming to MotoGP 2017, I'm sure there would be lot of activity on this page especially by KTM owners. We'll see how that goes, but for the time being I'm actually happy that the Kawakers don't run at the MotoGP grid, cos for now the level is so high it'll be difficult for them to be competitive. I think they are good at WSBK for now

Aoyama went slightly wide on the right hander, Petrucci had the chance as he had a better line on the inside, he went past fast and touched the Honda rider causing him to low side and slide out. So, Repsol scored 0 in MotoGP. Petrucci has been awarded 1 point penalty for causing the crash.

Don't know what's happening, can't upload GIF, it gets converted to JPG. Uploading the sequence.

Marquez breaks a finger in dirt track training:

Problems are heaping up for the world champ in this beginning of season....

While we all wish him a prompt recovery for Jerez, it's impossible not to consider the implications of this troubled start for the World Champ. Could this be the golden occasion for some of his rivals?

And what about Honda? Pedrosa is also out, Aoyama is hopelessly slow, if really Stoner is available what are they waiting for?

J4rn0 What happened to Hiroshi Aoyama?? He was the 2009 moto2 champion. Why is he not able to shake a feather in Motogp. Really surprising. As far as I remember, he won the 2009 moto2 championship in a dominant fashion. [emoji18] [emoji18]
Also, Jack Miller said he'd kick everybody's arse this season. Lol. Spoilt lil kid!! The motogp level seems to be quite high.👽👽

Aoyama won the last 250 title. Fact is, there are many riders who can master a 120 bhp bike, less who can manage two times that power. As many others he was good enough in the cadet class, never did much on the bigger bikes. Simoncelli, who had won the 2008 title and lost to him in 2009, completely outclassed him in MotoGP. Stoner never won a 250 title, but won the MotoGP title in his second year. His style was actually better suited to the bigger bikes.
Miller is actually doing well, considering the kind of jump he made (from 60 bhp to 260...!). He was the first Open bike rider in last race, not so shabby.

Of course!

30 points adrift and a broken finger for MM!

Is it really the year of the GOAT?!!

After what happened in past i don't think Stoner would be interested in racing along side Rossi (Back on Yamaha)... and considering he though Rossi moves were reckless I can't imagine how he would react if MM attacks him with his elbow draggin in corner..

Somehow I had big expectations from Scott Redding but i think he will still take time... Lorenzo on other hand needs to visit some Bangali Baba first flies on visor then Helmet foam WTF man he needs to get his act together and find his mojo back

The chic is hot

Whats up with Honda. First they denied Stoner the chance, then MM failed to finish the race, and the Japanese kid isn't doing justice to HRC colours.

At-least give Cal full support, and please please please get Stoner back.

There is also news of MM breaking his finger during practice, casting doubts over his Jerez performance. Constructors title is between Ducati and Yamaha now.

J4rn0 Simoncelli in 2008 won from a big cat fight as far I remember. He was not dominant at all. But, Aoyama was really dominant in 2009 winning most of the races. Ur correct. Maybe his riding style doesn't suit big bikes.

However, Dovi is really strong now. He might as well break the barrier between Rossi & MM93 by coming in between them this season. The way he was clinging onto Rossi leaving Cal way behind in Argentina shows he has immense potential. But, he cracks under pressure though as evident during his Tech3 days unlike Rossi & MM93. Bradley Smith is another rider who is doing well this season. He only fades as the race goes on. What is the reason for this. He clings onto Rossi (on the same Yamaha) till 8-9 laps, then fades away even when he & Rossi are on the same tyres. Is it due to lack of concentration. Why is that?? J4rn0
