Watching the video again a few times, it seems M did lean in towards R and made contact with his helmet and that's when R's knee jerks out.
    Dog fight it is..

I don't make decisions mate! Race Direction does. And am pretty sure they looked at it from every angle possible! Many more than videos you will find on youtube. And we all know what RD decided after seeing the incident from various angles!

Beating a dead conspiracy horse maybe?

Sharing facts and developments is one thing and sharing our opinions on a matter is different. It's the later that is actually causing more damage to the whole situation.

Please go through this article on motomatters. Hopefully it can calm the storm brought by two of the best motorcycle racers in the world.
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

i for one cannot wait for the weekend to start! A lot of people are saying that the championship is tarnished, but whoever ends up Champion on Sunday, it will be very well deserved after a fantastic season.

A few more hours to go.

            in other news -

            - it turns out now instead of a live pre event PC, there will be live telecast of individual rider briefs which the fans can now watch..i guess dorna realised cancelling the PC was a PR mistake, so they have now come up with this idea.

            - yamaha has cancelled their 'all star event' that was supposed to be held on saturday. reason they give is that they want to fully concentrate on supporting their two riders. but i guess we all know the real reason for it...it is again probably a bad PR decision.

May be good decision because they could be having a feeling the press meet will actually distract their riders from the job at hand.

Rossi's Penalty upheld. He will be starting at the back of the grid

Ya, That is going to make the race the most thrilling in Motogp's recent history. Thrilled but at the same time very tensed

Rossi 'll get 2 and half days to sort out his race pace. He doesn't have to bother about hot laps for qually. He needs a great start to clear off as many as possible in the first one-two laps.

If he bags the title, this season alone is enough to put him in the league of GP Legends.

Win this championship by starting all the way from the back and etch in our memory that age doesn't matter.

Qualifier is immaterial for him now?

PS: Not a Rossi fan here, but a fan of underdogs. Starting from the back he is at a disadvantage to finish on podium.

as i have argued a couple of times earlier, rossi still has a better chance of winning the title than lorenzo does (assuming no crashes or other random things happen).

he is very very likely going to achieve position 6th (if not higher) which usually means about 30 seconds or so behind the winner, which is pretty doable for any top rider starting from the back, as has happened many times in the past..not going to be so easy of course, but certainly achievable...and lorenzo in such a case has to somehow finish above 3rd, which is going to be not so easy for him either given his inconsistent records at valencia and honda's usual strengths here and dani's return to form...

i think rossi will have it after all.

                          Did anyone notice this???

I was watching the Phillip Island race this afternoon...

At Phillip Island this year, Marquez overtook Lorenzo on the EXACT same corner on the last lap…
just like when Rossi overtook Baggi on the last lap at Phillip Island in 2001.

So now, Laguna Seca, Jerez AND Phillip Island.

yes. and the world will go nuts if he has to go past Marquez.

And finally the Yamaha Boys talk!

Lorenzo apologises for Sepang podium gesture

Rossi: I regret my actions that led to Marquez clash

Lorenzo sees no problems working with Rossi

They seem to have put things behind and fully focused on the task at hand. It is JL's Championship to lose from here since VR has got an uphill task at hand now that it is confirmed he has to start from the back of the grid. Whatever the result may be, I'm going to put all other things aside and sit in front of my TV to watch what is going to be the most exciting races of all times.

                            Go Vale Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rossi is losing time in the final sector, 0.2s and 0.4s slower than Lorenzo and Marquez in FP1.

Hondas are fast. Dovi looking good as well - 4th.

The Hondas are fast so is Lorenzo. I could not check, did Dovi set his time caravaning? Because he put in only one fast lap, the rest of the time he was way off the pace. Further down the order it is good to see Bradl taking that Aprilia to 11th on the grid.
