This just happened a few minutes ago.

The sanction imposed by the Race Direction at the Malaysian GP is suspended until further action from the CAS.

rossi has appealed to the court of arbitration for sport to suspend his penalty at valencia...ruling will be done on 6th november..if it is suspended, then valencia race will be a normal one for rossi but his penalty will be carried over to qatar 2016.

i truly hope his penalty is suspended..no not for the sake of rossi or his fans or anyone else, but for the sake of making the valencia race result and therefore the title result untainted and unquestioned and for the sake of leaving this nasty business behind finally...

after all this drama, it appears it will finally be the lawyers who will end up playing perhaps the most crucial role in this championship.

          That will be really awesome.
After all, no matter whose fan I am, I definitely want to see Lorenzo and Rossi battle it out cleanly... or for that matter any rider who's competing.
          So do many people.
Sadly, people are seeing it as fanboyism. If it comes to fanboyism, I'm fan of Dani Pedrosa first not Rossi.

I really don't know what to say. Then again, you're the mod. So you have the powers.
You are right. I apologize, i should have watched the entire video before making a comment.

But in the first two minutes you made a factual error of pointing out that Lorenzo was in Race Control shouting, which he wasn't! And secondly, there are swear words in it which is against forum rules.

Regarding your comparison with a regular post. In a regular post, i would just edit out the swear words and leave the rest of the post as is. I can't do that in a video now, can I!!! Problems of modern technology

Anyways all the best with your video blogging. Cheers

No Offence. But I guess Lorenzo was at Race Direction shouting. I watched Neil Hodgson and Gavin Emmet say this, when then were waiting just outside the race direction. Have I misinterpreted them saying, I dunno.

catch up mate. :-) both of them clarified 3-4 days ago via their twitter that such was not the case and they were misinformed...lorenzo's team has also issued official statements denying this which was reported in many motogp related websites.

gavin emmett clarified he never actually said jl was at race direction because he was with him in an interview room which is near to the RD meeting room.

neil hodgson who had announced this misinformation in live bt sport apologized for the misunderstanding and for not verifying it on his own and for the consequent damage done.

there was a post by me in this thread clarifying it too since i too had mentioned in an earlier post about jl interfering in RD meeting.

unfortunately a lot of the people are still carrying this misinformation, that was spread just after the race, as being real..

That brawl should've happened at the Honda Race garage only. After the race, Maurizio Vitali of Dainese/AGV, and Rossi's right hand and close friend, entered Marc Marquez' box as he returned after the crash. Most likely, Vitali was going to demand some explanations from MM93, even though he was in no position to do so. He is blocked by Marc's brother Alex Marquez.

Also, Cesarino "Rino" Salucci, the long-time president of Rossi's fan club and father to Ucci, the Doctor's best friend, lost his temper and was subsequently calmed down by Sepang marshals.

I think Jorge Lorenzo has made some kind of a pact with Marc Marquez for the Championship. Two things, out of several which points to this are:
                      1. JLo slowed down in the last lap to hand MM the win at Phillip Island even after being comfortably ahead by 1 sec till that time,

                      2. JLo refused to take part in the traditional champagne battle. Why??! Bcoz he supports MM? Since he gets support from him. A true fighter shouldn't take such an action.

No! Marc Marquez is an animal, and can recover 2-3 seconds a lap if he wants to.

Lorenzo intentionally may have left a little space for Marquez because he knows that Marquez is an animal and that MM would have tried to overtake Lorenzo at the penultimate corner anyway... so when he heard Marquez behind him, he left that gap because he'd rather take second place than crash in the moment.

but Lorenzo did NOT help Marquez.

the important thing to remember here is... Marc Marquez is an animal and, more of than not, he ends up attempting some phenomenal late braking overtakes.

Marc Marquez is a phenomenal animal.

Rossi has always been Lorenzo's arch nemesis. Rossi has not posed a threat to Lorenzo's title aspirations since 2011...

so the world hasn't seen seen this side of Lorenzo in a while.

What you saw at Sepang was just Lorenzo being himself,

besides the fact that he was upset that Rossi wasn't disqualified during the race.

He inferred that at parc ferme.

                            .

Yes, I have seen the videos of those incidents. Fanatics of VR, MM, JL and of the sport in general are behaving like football hooligans. This will not do any good to the motorsport. And to make things worse, Italian and Spanish media are going full throttle in the wrong direction.

yea. the random fans are crazy to think that the can resort to physical scuffles.

and you can't really expect anything better from the spanish and the italian media...

Rossi / Marquez are like the Pope in their respective countries.

but, as far as Uccio's dad and Vitali go, they had every right to be angry coz they know everyone in the Honda garage personally.

these guys practically live and travel together for 10 months in a year...

and up until a few weeks ago, everything was cordial between the Rossi and Marquez camp.

so they've got every right to vent their frustration.
