That's what. VR46 indeed deserved a clean race at Sepang. Feeling really bad for him. [emoji23] The way Marquez acted was so so evil. That too against a person like VR46. Thanks for sharing our feelings.

Those who are saying that VR did the same thing before. I don't remember him ever doing a thing like that. He never interferes in someone else's Championship charge. Moreover, a person-like VR would never do such a thing. Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa are also very clean racers. In the race also VR could have held up JLo but he didn't. He allowed him to pass through. Marquez needs to grow up. He can't give excuses of being a child anymore.

But, alas the World Championship may be all but over! & that's what matters.

Awesome mate. No one better than Johann Zarco to tell the story.

      .

i would really like to see Livio Suppo give an official interview/statement like the one Lin Jarvis gave yesterday.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt... MM played dirty. Valentino slowed down. There was no kick.

I truly believe that Rossi will give it all he's got for 2016. And he won't let Marquez win the championship in 2016.

Iannone will play a HUGE role at Valencia i think. I really hope he has a good weekend at the final race.

If there's anyone in the MotoGP paddock as crazy as Marquez, it's Iannone.

November 8th. Italy vs Spain. Rossi will have a plan.

A Ducati might help Valentino Rossi win his 10th championship afterall.

        God! So much of optimism.

I dont think Ducati will ask Iannone to chase the race with any purpose in mind.

Did anyone come up with stats / analysis on what position Rossi should finish with Lorenzo at x position with points?

Wheather it was a kick or not, well the race officials answered it with point deduction and penalty to Rossi, which says enough. Whatever analysis that would pour in to prove it otherwise would just to please Rossi and his hard core fans. No fan would want his favourite riders image tarnished. The decision is made by the authorities and they wouldnt be changing it.

Rossi fans would say it was not a kick, MM fans would say it was a kick. Fans like me would rather wait for the officials to take their decision and then decide.

At the end of the day Rossi would be starting the race from the back of the grid and he have his 3 points deducted.

optimism is good. SO much optimism would be if i said Lorenzo has a DNF at Valencia.

Ducati don't need to ask Iannone anything. Just like Honda didn't ask Marquez.

i think Rossi can finish 9th if Lorenzo finishes after 4th after Pedrosa, Marquez, Iannone.

I also calculated other possible outcomes...

          Rossi current points: 312
          If...
          1st: 337
          2nd: 332
          3rd: 328
          4th: 325
          5th: 323
          6th: 322
          7th: 321
          8th: 320
          9th: 319
          10th: 318

          Lorenzo current points: 305
          If…
          1st: 25 - 330
          2nd: 20 - 325
          3rd: 16 - 321
          4th: 13 - 318
          5th: 11 - 316
          6th: 10 - 305
          7th: 9 - 304

Race direction did not mention a kick in their final verdict. They simply said Rossi intentionally went wide.

I may be a Rossi fan but if there was a kick I'd say there was. (and I'm STILL a Marquez fan too.)

There's Ultra HD video of the race and I've seen it hundreds of times and there's no kick.

Which is exactly why Race Direction didn't even bring it up in their final verdict.

Videos are watched not just by officials. From the videos available, its evident that Marquez touched him first.

Realistically speaking we can expect Rossi to end up in 5th or max 4th if he doesn't crash given the fact that usually the 5th is separated by some distance from the first 4. This being the case it is going to be very tough for Vale to lift the title this year unless a surprise from any one other than the aliens or a ducati win happens.

As stated earlier I was feeling uneasy about the race and what happened was totally disheartening. Other than the most childish/dirty act of MM in recent times what VR did was very unexpected (I'm not buying the "kick" theory though as claimed by MM accepted by JL and other supporters). Even now my mind is full of "VR should/could have" and I feel the best VR should have done is to have slowed down a bit letting MM take a lead more than 1 second and then proving to the world when he would have deliberately slowed down again to pester VR rather than trying to remove a thorn with a thorn. The biggest mistake was this being done on track and rightly penalized. Expceted a DQ from the race but this is better giving a glimmer of hope. Waiting and hoping for VR to take the title against all these odds!

Too much optimism I'd say. But, yes Valencia is a Honda track. & on a track favouring Honda, usually the order is:
                            1. MM,
                            2. DP (More so bcoz of gud form),
                            3. VR,
                            4. JL
So, yes a little bit of optimism is surely warranted. But, Lorenzo performs quite decently in Valencia (Spanish crowd support).

This is it..!! Confirmation from Marquez agent Emilio Alzamora. Rossi unsure if he'll compete in Valencia. F*****g lil bastard, this Marquez. He's gone way over the limit on this one. Too cunning.

i don't see how it's too much to expect.

Lorenzo retired from last year's race AND he crashed in 2012 when he tried to lap Ellison.

Also, If it rains come raceday, the conditions will suit Rossi.

He could easily overtake more than half the field within a few laps.

(Remember how MM won the final Moto2 race at Valencia after starting from 33rd position?)

Lorenzo has retired in the last two out of four races at Valencia.

According to weather forecasts there's a 10% chance of rain and 85% cloud cover.

                                Now, i fancy those chances.

I don't think there's even a 1% chance that VR will skip the race at Valencia.
