  • The 800 are very predictable these days unless there are some surprise attacks like Dani at Motegi and thereon. Rossi's presence kind of kills the excitement . In 125 & 250 there are many contenders for the podium. 250 today was really awesome with the podium positions being swapped infinte times.

umm ... actually I'd like to disagree!! Its Rossi who is making it even a bit interesting. It was only Rossi who made some 3-4 overtaking moves at the front, how many overtakings did we see from stoner, lorenzo or mini-P !! I'd say we shud force him to start at 11th position all the time, and he'd still win !! From the looks of it, Melandri and Edwards exchanged positions a number of times ... Melandri is really showing he IS the man !!

BTW, did anyone else notice what looked like the BMW S1000RRs along with the safety cars at the start of the race ! Does that mean BMW is coming to MotoGP ???

Exactly.....justifying my point about Rossi. You are so sure and I am so sure he will win. So where is the excitement.

Maybe we should let Rossi start after a lap or maybe we should give Rossi the title in the beginning and then let others race the whole season to decide 2nd and 3rd. It is really boring for me to see Rossi. And it is also frustrating at the same time to see no one else is able to really challenge him. Stoner was supposed to do the damage but he is struggling himself. It is very boring to see Rossi winning all the time.

        • YEs, there's one S1000R and HP2 Sport, official safety motorcycles from BMW for MotoGP.

Agree with Sukant on the Rossi part!

Personally, as a Rossi fan its not boring for me to see him win everytime...or not But come-on leon, its not like Rossi's getting it easy, guys like Stoner, Dani and Lorenzo are making him work very hard aren't they? Yes, when he's able to ride the way he wants to he does make it look easy, and that is why he is arguably the greatest racer in MotoGP. Infact, because of Rossi, rest of MotoGP paddock especially that of Lorenzo, Stoner and Pedrosa have someone to look upto! Rossi's an inspiration for them all, and may be some of them won't say it in public as long as they are racing along side him! But believe me, the day Rossi will retire from MotoGP, you and me will miss him equally along with millions and billions of his fans worldwide. So, as a Rossi fan, I'll never be bored of seeing him winning

            • Yeah of course Rossi is the face of Motogp. Love him or hate him but we cannot ignore him. I am not much of a Rossi fan...hence the comments...you see . But, I know what he is and I have always said that I haven't seen anyone have riding skills like Rossi. He makes things look easy and so invicible. But, yeah there are people keeping him on his toes all the time. Anyways, that was my personal opinion. Nothing to create a rule about .

Anyways I am out for now. Disappointed for Lorenzo. Gotta get some lollies .

Fair enuff , actually both of us are looking at the thing from different angles. Personally as a Rossi fan, I'd never get bored with watchin him win, and from your perspective I agree it does get boring to see such processional races.

But at least we've had different winners in each race so far, but unfortunately I think (wish actually) that it'd gonna be a Rossi streak now, he is good at LeMans and Mugello !! He can win Mugello on a scooter !!

                  • Rossi is god

Oh man. Yesterday's race was amazing. He never fails to impress me
Starting from 4th position, it was tough. That too when Peddy had really opened some good gap. But Rossi's magic works everywhere. Yesterday's race was really exciting.

btw: is it a new tactic of Rossi to confuse or make fool of opponents by dangling his feet round the corner :-P . I guess its because of hard braking

                    • Stoner & De Puniet have also started taking their leg out while hard braking.. De Puniet was doing it every time on the main straight yesterday in Jerez..!

And yes.. Rossi is definitely not getting it easy.. not since 2006! Qatar & Motegi just gave us an idea of how tough Lorenzo & Pedrosa have become to beat, Stoner was already strong. Yesterday's race was a typical Rossi show of class & skill.. AND WE LOVE HIM FOR THAT

Somebody did ask Rossi y does he dangles his leg like that, it seems he had said it helps in balancing the bike and brake harder !! Also saw one more thing !! There were so many corners yesterday when Rossi didn't brake at all. They were showing Rossi's and Stoner's brake/throttle data side by side, and there were quite a few corners where Rossi's brake indicator didnt light at all !!

Its amazing how this man has nothing left to prove and yet he continues to prove it !!

Le mans is a horror track for ducati. I think none of ducatis were in top ten position.

yes it looks like Le Mans will be bad for Ducati, but if u read through the interview with Hayden in Autosport he has suggested Le Mans might work well for him....

here is the link for the interview http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/75025

Yeah Sukant, Good Observation, I have a video of him with data analysis and he works more on engine braking to keep the rpm's constant, he hardly brakes!!

And ya, even though Misaon is closer to his hometown Tavullia, its Mugello that he considers as his home race !!

A pic from Tavullia after he won the championsjip in 08. They imposed a speed limit of 46 kmph inside the town, down from the usual 50 !!
