It is a fact that Rossi's legion of fans will follow him whereever he goes. And FIM, Ferrari,DORNA and WRC know this all to well.
But right now Ferrari needs him much more than Rossi needs Ferrari, and we are underestimating the fact that his first love is always been motorcycles. Plus he has got a contract with Yamaha for 2010 to see out.

I feel Rossi isnt moving to F1 (or with Ferrari in the near future, and I've two reasons for that)
I sincerely believe 2011 will be dictated by how close Rossi is to Ago's 123 premier class wins. And he wud want to leave a winner with yamaha. Also agruably his opposition is the strongest now, than its ever been and if he leaves now, there will still be something left to prove. That will again make Rossi naysayers start wagging their tongue about how he was scared and left.

And that brings me to his second reason. Rossi knows his plave in Motorsport history and its largely due to the bikes. There is no guarentee that he will be able to exert teh same level of authority and achieve the same level of success in other form of sports. So he will plan his options carefully.
Notice how he never fails to add the word fun in all his excursions beyond MotoGP. WRC was for fun, F1 testing was for fun, this years Isle of Man TT will be for fun. That kind of removes any onus from him to really have to be competitive. I am not saying he is scared of a scrap, Rossi wudn;t have been what he is if he were so. But I mean if he will compete in anything where its not just an exhibition round, he'd really need to be really strong there.
And for that he needs to weigh his options ....... with Ferrari and elsewhere !!

@Sukant: It is also possible that Rossi might go the Schumacher way! I mean indulging in different motorsports just for fun!

But that's far....Right now...The Doctor have things to take care of! He said in an interview after the Le Mans race that he will be more motivated than usual for his home race at Mogello

Thats exactly what he's gonna be doing in WRC once he hangs his boots in MotoGP . Altho I hope he doesn't crash as much as Schumi is doing now on the bike !! But I reckon Rossi is a better car driver than Schumacher is a bike rider !!! (just my opinion) !!

Its easier to get 46 T-shirts from Europe than US, they Rossi doesn't hv too much of a fan following in US. Maybe down south, Texas and all.

Best bet'd be you buy online from Europe and give the delivery address to ur boss in US.

Or do what I did, buy a yellow T-shirt and imprint 46 on it !!
