I kind of feel that Moto2 will be as exciting as the current 250s are. Altho the 250s will be missed !!

Hmm ! now leaving all these power difference aside ! Now lets have a speculation of who might ride for whom next season in Moto2 and Motogp !! I beleive Simoncelli might move to Motogp ! and the rumours i read from some forums said..Ducati n yamaha are after him ! My guess Bautista would stay at moto2... Now People who might be kicked out of GP would ( entirely my guess ) -
1. Yuki from Scot
2. Uncle Gibernau
3. Loris ( might retire not get fired )
4. Toseland ( will yam give him another chance )
5. Colin ( Tornado is a bit old )

It is not even half way mark this year. But yeah I too feel the same about Loris and Colin.
Colin's comment in Le Mans: "If I can ever win a motoGP race it will be this race" (not verbatim but something like that he said). Looks like Colin has something in mind??

Yes Sumit ! Even i read about that ! but so sad such a great guy not even able to win a single race ! i still rememember that last lap duel the two americans had ! Well well i forgot about nicky ! Nicky ain t feeling at home in Ducati ! first comes out saying communication issue ! then change in manager ! Then injuries ! Been a tough season for the American !

My take :
Yuki takahashi going from Scot entirely depends on whether Aoyama wants to move up. Because Honda always has kept a token Jap in the rostrum!
Simochelli might go anywhere right now. He'd definitely not want to get on a satellite machine, coz in the current scheme of things, satellite have zero chances of winning a race. In fact it seems Aprillia want him on the RSV4 in WSBK esp since Nakano is doing jackshit on it! Of course yamaha wud want him too, but a factory isn't available now. And Simon's friendship with Rossi and Rossi's immense clout within Yamaha will no doubt be a factor.
Bautista's manager Jorge Martinez has been looking for a motogp bike since a long time to run thru his Aspar team and get Bautista to premier class. He has had talks to Kawasaki and Suzuki as well. And it seems next year Yamaha might field a third factory as Aspar for Bautista. That might make things even more spicy at Yamaha coz Simon and Bautista do not mix well !!
Toseland might just need to go if Ben Spies decides to come in. Also Colin Edwards might go to Aprillia WSBK, esp if they are willing to pay him the dollers he want !!
Nicky Heyden isn't going anywhere, simply because of the number of bikes Ducati is sellling of his back in the US.
And regarding the likes of de Angelis , and Sete and Caneppa, hu cares !!

Also I'd think thrs more chance for Vermeulan to go from Zook than Loris. And no he ain't retiring !!

I just wish Melandri gets a better bike tho !!

1. Aspar already had talks with Ducati at the end of last season to have a new Ducati - Aspar sat team ! I never knew Yamaha is trying for that ticket now !When did it come out ? At the same time Jorge s contract ends this season and its yet to be renewed ! So lets wait n see ! Whether a Mclaren type feud occurs !? ( waiting eagerly for it )

2.Colin might just head back to Yamaha WSBK ! He had said in a few interviews ! wherever he races he ll be with yamaha .

3.And Sukant you forgot Crash master 'RDP' ! Rain god 'Chris' and as Faster vdo said !the next potential threat to rossi ..who never was Mr. John Hopkins !

4. And for Pramac i don t see Kallio n Canepa moving out ! they still keep saying this is a learning year for them ! :O ! And guys do u know Canepa has a thumb operated rear brake because his shoe is too big !

I remember reading on some forum (don't remember which) about Danii not being very happy with the Honda Team and might move. Big question is where? And then ofcourse there's this rumor about JLo switching to the Repsol Honda next year. That leaves a vacant spot at Fiat Yamaha. No way Simoncelli can hop onto the Fiat Yamaha because of the Rookie rule. I was hoping to see Ben Spies on the Fiat Yamaha but again that won't be possible because of the Rookie rule. Will Spies go onto Tech 3 or Suzuki? Simoncelli might just replace Chris at Suzuki. Colin might be getting back to WSBK like Sukant mentioned above. In all there are going to be some major changes in the next season. Sounds very confusing

P.S.: suzuki is exempted from the Rookie rule coz they dont have a Satellite team unlike Yamaha and Ducati

Colin Edwards is in fact very much in discussion with Aprillia for the WSBK. of course he might stay at Yahama as well, but the deciding factor is hu pays top dollars !!

IIRC Simonchelli is in fact racing an Aprillia in a WSBK round (dunno wich one!! ) Aprillia has publically stated that tey want to keep him, and since they are not participating in Moto2, the logical destination might be WSBK. But its all in thin air right now !!

But among the current crop, Lorenzo and Simon are the only ones who have plenty of choices. And of course Ben Spies, but that'd be a discussion for WSBK thread !!

There was a recent interview with Repsol sponsership head and she catogarically mentioned that Repsol is staying with Honda and Dani P at the moment. But these things chage all too often !!

lorenzo has also said, that "when you are fast, everybody wud want you", and his options are also open now. But I'd say hes gonna stay with Yamaha, coz thats the best bike package right now and Yamaha really has the family atmosphere that Honda sorely lacks !!

And Dani Pedrosa !! I dont know man, but I really wince now a days whenever I see him on the 800 machine. At this rate he is gonna (God forbid) end up in a wheelchair, and he looks like halfway there already !!
His luck just seem to have deserted him !!
And if he does leave Honda where does he go ?? I'm sure the Ducati beast will spit him out everytime he is on it. And Yamahas style of functioning will just not tolerate the autocratic style his Manager Alberto Puig has !!

And lastly, as I said hu cares where the de Puniets and kallios and canepas !! They are grid fillers anyway !! No wait .. I want de Puniet to be thr !! Only coz of the Playboy bunnies !!

Hmm yup ! Dani is just getting paid to be beaten up ! I just cannot imagine the Ducati eat him up ! He better get back to smaller Moto2 ! he ll be the champion for the rest of his life !
Ok this is my speculation :
Yamaha : Rossi / new guy if lorenzo wins the championship
Suzuki : 2 Newbies ( one oldie might stay )
Honda : Dovi / daniii (i don t knw why is honda tolerating this much of bashing from him ! they usually do that to their riders ! its the other round for a while now )
Ducati : No change
Sat Yamaha : one 250 guy and a Wsbk guy
Sat Honda : As sukant says with all the grid fillers !
Sat Ducati : Same as above !
Sat Kawasabki : Marco with some better factory support or bust !

So the teams to look out for according to me would be the Tech 3 team and new Aspar team and some change in Honda ! if at all it happens !

Every factory team has one rider that belongs to the top riders group. Honda has no choice than to go ahead with Dani. Rossi is not going to come, Lorenzo I seriously doubt that, Stoner is Ducati's Trump card. Who else can come and replace Dani?

Ummmm .. wat about Bautista. He is Spanish so Repsol wudn't mind. He is definitely championship material and unlike Danni actually is media friendly and has a smiling demeanour !!

Also Dovisiozo's contract was also only for a year and will be up for negotiation !!!

But the question is will Bautista come ? I don't know but I am sure Bautista might have been contacted by some Motogp team. He is definitely good. I also wonder why some people stick to 250? Is it their personal choice or lack or offers from Motogp teams? I was surprised to see Mika Kallio being inducted into Motogp. Why not someone else?

More than 250s Bautista wants to stick with his manager Jorge Martinez. He'll go whereever Martinez takes him. And Martinez wants to take him to premier class since last year itself !!

Yup! Last year in one of the races the commentators were saying that both simoncelli and bautista have turned down premier class for one more year and fight for the 250 championship one more time.
