I guess Ducati finally wants to do some changes to the GP9. Perhaps mellow it down so that it can be ridden by a broader spectrum of riders !Originally posted by nitinsen View Post
Melandri's performance of the dead horse kawasaki proves all the more that its the bike that needs some tweaking. And it also proves how immensely talented Stoner is !!
Also the latest dope on Moto2 is that its an inline 4 engine and not a V4 earlier speculated !! And that too, Honda has publicly stated that its based on and heavly modified from a CBR600!
Power is more than 150BHP. It doesnt have a cassette type gearbox, which is weird for a racing bike, because a cassette type 'box allows the gear shaft to be taken apart from the engine without removing the engine from the chassis !!
More on this later. Sign out !Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!

Stoner leading with De Puniet and Vermeulen following.
Rossi is in 7th position with little more than a second behind.
Still half an hour to go the free practice.
Edit: Now Dovi is in front
and Rossi in 6th position
Edit2: Rossi upping the speed and now half a second behind Dovi.Last edited by TheRedPill; 05-15-2009, 07:05 PM.
