Road Legal Version of the KTM 125 Duke

The above photos are of the "Concepts" shown at the 2009 Milan Motorcycle show.

Photo the Road Legal Version of the KTM 125 Duke is posted below. It is still not of the final version though, but an under test piece (hence unpainted).

this is one bike i'm really looking forward to.
          specifically... the 'higher displacement one'.

          lookit those USD forks. sweet!
and that rear sprocket looks twitchy!

          it's got Pulsar grab rails.

Sweet news!! The wheelbase looks very big.

The overall look of the bike in the above pic is similar to FZ-16.

Yep, it does.. except maybe the longer wheelbase and the radiator.

But it looks more like a younger brother to the 990 Super Duke.

But, I feel KTM-Bajaj got it right in looks department. The true KTM design may not go well with masses in Indian. I am sure this FZ'ish looks hit the bull's eye. Of course, the KTM design character will definitely be there in the final product.

There is another news about this bike in indianautosblog.com & motorbeam.com both claiming that Indian version of this bike will have more power output.. motorbeam went a step ahead and declared it as 20ps!!.. now my doubt is.. would it be street legal in India i.e. 20ps for 125cc??

If the news of it being 20ps power then no looking back for higher cc's this is worth enough to drive on indian streets
