        2. Anyone who has a 4 wheeler driving license can ride a 125 cc motorcycle without a motorcycle riding license.

        3. For a motorcycle rider between the age of 18-21 there is no restriction in engine cc but restricted to ride a bike not producing not more than 25 Kw or 33.5 bhp (Kawasaki Ninja's territory).

        4. Above 21 years old, a rider can ride motorcycles of any capacity and power but have to undergo a practical test by riding a bike at least 33.5 bhp or above.

Pulsater, any info on what would be the rules of this unified EU driving licensing (from 2013)?

By the way, what happened to NowBikers.Com?
sorry for late reply payeng, I almost forgot about this.

If you passed your car test before 1 February 2001, you are legal to ride a moped up to 50cc without a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training). For more see this The vehicles you can drive or ride and minimum ages : Directgov - Motoring. If you want to ride anything bigger then 50cc you must do a CBT. This covers you up to 125cc/33bhp for 2 years with ‘L’ plates and no pillion passengers. During that time you can go on to do further training and take a test to get rid of the ‘L’ plates. However, one can do a DAS (Direct Access Scheme) to ride bigger bikes of any engine capacity, provide rider passes the test on a <43bhp bike.

Regarding one EU license by 2013, read this BBC NEWS | Europe | EU driving licence coming in 2013

nowbikers.com is coming soon with a new road safety approach and design by end of this year. as for now we are here

It sure does, and if its priced sensibly I would really really bike one!
How I wish a bigger bore was available for it, even if it were not road legal!

the bike looks great...should thank bajaj for manufacturing bikes like these in India nulling the abominable 100% duty which buyers would have to shell out otherwise...

I remember Bike Magazine putting up the Pic of this KTM mentioning it would be 125cc and generate 15bhp starting from 90,000 bucks.
Not sure of how true this was.

god only knows how this one is gonna sell. i mean for the expected price we have the R15 which has almost similar features and with more power.. if this bike sells for over 1lac say 1.5lacs then what about Mojo?? LOL it seems more sensible to launch a bigger cc bike with a big price tag than except a premium over a 125cc bike ! even if it sells its gonna be a rich boy's poser toy. the average indian would be happy with the P220.

This particular bike specifically manufactured in india for oversea market... and as its manufactured in india .. we will also have gonna get this on indian price .. if its cost 1.2L also .. its very good buy.

and its not rich boy poser toy at all .. if ur shelling 85k-1.15L for bike ranging from 150cc to 220cc .. its worth for brand and tech and cool look

and about MOJO only JOJO will buy ..

Having ridden the bike for a short while in singapore (lol without a license) I can vouch most of us will lack the balls to try and take it its topspeed, thanks to the kind of power delivery it has.. Its only us who are so obsessed with BHPee!
                          Did u try a DUKE 125 ???

Correct me guys if I am wrong, In the video posted, one can see the switchgear lit-up as in Pulsars n the DUKE125.The que is whether it is something KTM adopted from Bajaj RnD or is it the vise versa ( Only who have ridden KTMs in past can comment )

But NO complaints regarding the looks .... We were waiting for the DUKE 690 or something to hit the road, but something better seem to be in store for all of us
If sold in India at a price 80k to 1 lac there will he a huge crowd of college guys ready to order one right away

The price tag is the deciding factor, but the performance figures will tell its worth.

Riding is a way of life. Sometimes, it might also be a way of giving life. So Ride safe. In both contexts.

According to KTM they are looking at bikes from 125 cc to 350 cc with Bajaj. Who knows?

The back lit switches appeared on the Pulsars in 2006 in the UG III variants. The Bajaj KTM thingy started only in 2007.

So far I don't know of any other bike that has this feature, KTM's included... anyone?
