Because it was not a working model and the work on it was not finished. But yeah it did look bad the bike being brought on stage in that fashion.

Thanks for sharing the videos Srinath.

1st video: The cornering shots look really funny on this bike. It doesn't seem built for that (looks wise).

4th video: The dance looks more suited for launching a Scooty Pep+ (in 99 colours or whatever), or HH Pleasure.

Its hillarious seeing them push the bike onto the stage, & 2 guys putting it on the center stand.
Either the bike refused to start at the event, or they didn't have fuel. Or maybe, Amir Khan doesn't know to ride bikes. Anyone, does he?

I see more and more people now saying the looks of the bike has already grown on them and they seemed to be liking it now. The next question is: How long will it take for the name Mojo to become acceptable to us?

well for us our bikes are our pride....and for austin powers his mojo was his pride...so ...

on a real note..everything in due course of time will be grown onto us...

I didnt like the way it looks in the pics. Tank is too small, eyes.. umm the headlights are wierd... but eagerly waiting to read about the performance. I was wishing hard for it to don a twin cyl engine. *disappointed*

Well he does know how to ride a bicycle and race it too. They made a movie about it many years back.

Are they launching any scooty pep or pleasure or any girls scooter or are they launching a sports bike with an aggressive looks for aggressive people?? I am dying out of laughter after watching the video. Who is the person responsible for the dance shows?? Already their bike is not that good & add to that this stupid dance. And what a method of bringing the bike?? A way of stating to others that the bike will never work properly & whenever it stops working you need 2 persons to push it.

Name really wont be much of a concern I feel ... Or will it matter ???? I remember when HH came out with the HUNK...it was criticized a lot only for its name but still the bike is doing good sales number and also been updated.....people are ok with hunk ...They will be ok with MOJO too ( No offense to all the HH HUNK owners ) but simply calling the bike MOJO seems incomplete without JOJO

If MOJO packs in some punch, they once astride people will forget about the name and probably get rid of the horrid font

MOJO logo and rename it the some thing like NM-300 ...keep it simple (DIABLO sounds so good now

)

it will become acceptable to us once the bike proves its mettle ON ROAD in a fully-blown test-ride report by xBhp.....

Atleast the hunk name was a somewhat aggressive & not funny but this name just reminds me mojo jojo or hojo(chandni chowk to china) & is too funny. Still i feel that the naming does affects the sales. Who would like to say that "I own a mojo"?? On the other hand look at karizma or fz whose names are too aggressive & good.

If u look at the pic in which Aamir is standing right next to MOJO ....

The bike seems to have freakishly small wheelbase knowing Aamir's built which should make it a well-behaved bike around corners like the FZ only difference is its got twice of cc's and to an extent power also.

TD is what everybody is looking forward too....

One of the USP for this bike seems to be the sound, noticed the AD with a blank screen & just the 'vroom' sound, maybe those 2 exhuast is for enhanced sound along with the chamber below the crank case. Lets see what MG has to say if hes asked any of the Mahindra guys at the launch about it.
