The bike looks good and it evidently has some amount of retro European styling.
Amidst all the bashing going around the looks and name, I would like to congratulate Mahindra to bring about some fresh air in the stuffy and stale Indian biking scenario.
There will be people always wanting more for less - no end to it. Personally, I feel the pricing has been fair with the newness in the engine capacity and the technology department.
Hoping all goes well after different ride reports come about all over this month.
Well done Mahindra!

The R15 is gonna have a very tough times. Many people will go for this bike instead of R15 due to higher power output although it may be a bit costly. The R15 is having tough times now in terms of performance also. First the R15 was the fastest bike in india (not considering superbikes & RE's). Then came the P220 which went on to become the fastest bike in india making R15 second. After that cam the ninja which made the R15 at third place. And now finally this mojo (or jojo or hojo or whatever
) which has now made the R15 at 4th & out of the top 3
. Now sooner or later even the honda is gonna enter the competition which will make the battle even more fierce.
So the conclusion is that the yamaha should now take some serious steps by launching some more performance bikes which can make the mouths of others shut otherwise it would be out of the competition soon & would have huge losses as it had in other countries.
BTW the hojo oops jojo oops mojo
is looking bit ugly from the front although the power output is an ok considering its price. I dont think my question would make any sense but still "whats the expected mileage of this bike???" Still i like the kind of dual projecting headlights provided that they should be bigger. It makes the bike look muscular. The mahindra has given smaller projections which makes it look ugly.
I appreciate mahindra whole heartedly for taking such a serious step of launching such a sheer performance oriented bike & highly advanced bike without any good experience in bikes whereas the old experienced players are sitting dumb & watching the game.NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

Hey Guys
We need to sit back and take in this moment. Indian biking in moving into a new direction. I for one was expecting a 100cc and 125cc bikes from Mahindra. Well this just blew me.
Ok there are some shortfalls on theMojo, but we now have something above the 250cc range. and with regards to the price, no one is puting a gun to your head and asking you to purchase it, you find it expensive dont buy. There are cheaper bikes out there, but ask one question. Is there other bike in market with similar spec at a cheaper price?
Just remember we have one more choice out there and i guess that more choices is always good for the customer.
May be this will wake out other manufactures from their slumber.
A standing applause to Mahindra to boldly go where non of the established manufacture has dare to go before.

DID ANYBODY CHECK OUT THE MALAGUTI MR250......THIS BIKE IS A COPY TO THE ITALIAN BIKE........is Mahindra turning Chinese way?Originally posted by fast_ferocious View PostHave been following this thread for couple of days now. Most of the members are thrashing Mahindra for the looks and price. Firstly the looks are not that bad except for the headlamp unit. I am damn sure we'll like the looks once the official xBhp photos are posted. Secondly, the pricing is a bit more than what expected. But it is justified when we consider the premium paid to Ducati, Pirelli etc.

Personally, I liked the looks. The tank, dual exhausts (their note ofcourse!), lovely alloys, inverted golden forks, ninja-copied tail lamp, but not the headlights.
And about 26Bhp, there is Joel with a 300cc engine

No, i'd posted a couple of images showing the FAKE austin powers dancing, commenting that they'd be the TARGET AUDIENCE for the Mojo.. Guess some pressure for the mods for the Mahindra Guys.. But, its cool.. Just hope that in the future, i atleast get an intimation from the mods that they've deleted my post for some undiscloseable reason..Originally posted by xionite View Postthis one??? it hasn't been deleted.

Malaguti MR250 was designed by Engines Engineering and from what I have been able to find out, that was only a concept and was never launched (please correct me if this is wrong). Mojo is also designed by Mahindra owned Engines Engineering so I believe they have used their own design. Hence there is no question of copying.Originally posted by sudeepcarfreak View PostDID ANYBODY CHECK OUT THE MALAGUTI MR250......THIS BIKE IS A COPY TO THE ITALIAN BIKE........is Mahindra turning Chinese way?

I'd leave the Ninja out of this one.Originally posted by madhav krishna View PostThe R15 is gonna have a very tough times. The R15 is in a league of it's own when compared to the P220 and the Mojo.
Both these bikes wouldn't hold a candle to how brilliantly the R15 handles.
besides... we don't know anything about the Mojo's performance.
but i'm sure we'll always see more R15s than Mojo's on raods.

Looks department, its a fail. Owl eyed, flat chested. Looks ugly. Looks Chinese.
Price - cant comment unless I see it/ ride it. If it rides well, and feels like quality product, then well and good. Even then I am not a potential customer unless something is done about the looks. Waiting for some more pics from MG and team.
Since no one here has ridden the bike please refrain from comparing Mojo's performance and handling to other bikes. It makes no sense.Acta non verba

Btw R15 and Mojo in Handling, nothing can be said...it is too soon to comment ... A shoot out/track day with both will give a clearer picture.....Tech wise both are equally matched on paper. How well Mojo handles on track or on the highway is still a question waiting to be answered
On pure Styling, MOJO is not even close to P220/R15/ZMR/ZMA/FZ/FAZER... as most of these are complete design and have very few angles from which it looks bad ....tour-master on exile
