I get so many ideas to fill in those empty spaces at the front!!

Mahindra, If you are reading this, then at least work on this aspect. Give a half -fairing or at least a bikini-shroud around the twin-headlights for God's sake.

        • naked bike.. can't tour well on this..
          single cylinder..

pricing is a major disappointment.. anything close to 1.4 - 1.5 L would be better..

If the first test ride and ownership report doesn't come too good.. I don't think it will have many buyers..

            • I dont know but think it this way this bike looks meaty for 3/4th from rear end especially the 150/60 rear tyre, even I think that the front end inverted forks are exposed more than required, BUT then one must remember that even R15 was extremely criticized for its skinny tyres and some design factors initialy but the bike in person was not that bad , but yes looking at the contemporary designs its way to flamboyant to own & bit odd sometime

              • what the hell are the mahindra ppl doing?
this bike (although different) looks totally out of the place.!
Wonder on what basis it will appeal to the customers...
looks like a fail long before launch.!

                • It would have been the best, if the Mojo engine is swapped with the ZMR's & Vice versa..Now think about the same ZMR with this 300cc powerplant at hundred thousand bucks.

                    • yes the design looks definitely flawed---but before it actually goes into production I think mahindra will have gathered enough feedback from the market & will probably incorporate those --

                      aleast hope for it

                      • I do not understand why we are writing off this bike even before it is seen or tested.
Yes, the name sucks and the looks are different and weird compared to any contemporary Indian bikes. The headlamps remind me of Bumble Bee from transformers.

But actually I started liking it.

I get a feeling that once we are on this bike and revv this up, we will forget about looks and start enjoying ride. This looks to be a good one for stunts.

Even Yamaha RX 100 was not known for its looks (IMO) - but what a legend it is. Let's give this bike a chance.

                        • that would be great if they did. very unlikely they'll change the stuff everyone's whining about here tho.

mahindra should slap on the GT250 tank onto this one.

the other imperfections can be set straight with aftermarket stuff.

Check out the video in the page... I am sure Honda has a bunch of 250cc bikes in its huge stable, but going by the fact that its a single cyl, the looks of the bike would probably be like the one in the video... no point putting loads of fairing if the character of the engine is not in sync with it.

And Mahindra, congrats for at least having the ball$ to tread in the 225+ cc section. You need better marketing guys though (what does 'Flower Power' have to do with packing Testosterone? [FB link]).. and some better designers too.

EDIT: link picked up from this thread only

dude.....! check the video properly.....! its a V-Twin..... but, i would WANT a FAIRED Version of the same..... Naked bikes kinda suck..... AERODYNAMICALLY.....

but that vTwin looks sooo much like a ducati monster dunnit!?!

                                non-faired for me.
