Yellowspunk, I was laughing on the sudden twist to the tale and not on the member - what was rumoured as a parallel twin and then dismissed as a single cylinder bike on xBHP itself, and then today after this 'supposedly twin' which turned out to be a "single cylinder" bike launch - it went back to be called an inline 4 suddenly! I am sorry but I found it amusing! I was amused with the R25 and what not too, but didnt write anything about it!! Lookin at the actual pics, the bike does look a bit good than the ones which were present on M&M site. I fail to understand why everyone is bashing up that bike. Agreed the headlamps look a bit too weird, but theres always an alternative to it right (getting it replaced by something else). The specs sheet look weird though, peak power a 8500 rpm, but it'll all be completely clear only and only after theres a first test ride report.
Personally, i would like to congratulate M&M for such a fabulous try, for venturing into the two wheeler dept. in a place where none other home grown manufacturers have ventured, a 300cc LC engine... Well done Mahindra. i am waiting for the firs test ride report.A fact -- It takes more love to share the pillion seat, than to share the bed.Comment

Great work by Mahindra! Hope the handling and on-road performance doesn't let it down..

name - doesnt matter..
looks! - could have been better. still I feel it'll grow more in days..
price - 1.5 lacs would have been on target atleast for the reason that Mahindra is a newcomer to bike segment. less price would attract more buyers for sure.
Altogether, brave move by an Indian manufacturer after a long time.MJ
