Thailand launch is slated sometime later this month and most probably all the Auto Houses will be called for the first unveiling. Expect the bike to be on sale in India somewhere around next Jan.

Chalo finally... some good news!
A honda 250, my only gripe would be its price... it its priced sensibly I would surely bite the bullet! The 250 would become a nice commuter bike for some time

If it's a new CBR250R then the Ninja 250R would be it's main competition.Originally posted by whizzkid_ram View PostWow!, I'm wondering how it would compete with Ninja quality & price wise. fingers crossed.
Good news. Looks soo VFRish tho.

so is this confirmation that the "Honda CBR250RR" will be here by Jan?
or that "a 250cc Honda" will be here by Jan?
so if it's a single cylinder... then it's unlikely that it's the CBR250R that's being launched rite?Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostSupposed to be a single. In that case both the speculation will fall flat
coz that would make it a lousy competitor to the Ninja 250R.

Bhai, he is the MAN enough, I mean, the Moderator enough, so as not required to give source.
But why this hullabaloo about a bike whose specs are not availbale even as a speculation, i.e., single or double cylinder, 249 or 292 cc, carb vs. EFI, liquid vs. air cooled, naked street or fully covered, short stroke vs. normal stroke, fully or partially made in India or imported, price, anything.
So, at the most, one can feel good that our market has entered or is about to enter quarter litre mark soon.

Honda doesn't makes two bikes for two different markets when the market dynamics are not that different. I mean Thailand and India. So the bike that you see in the spy shots is the one that is coming to India(Almost 100% sure).Originally posted by xionite View Postso if it's a single cylinder... then it's unlikely that it's the CBR250R that's being launched rite?

bah! i've been mis-reading CB250 as CBR250... hence the confusion.Originally posted by MG_Biker1806 View PostHonda doesn't makes two bikes for two different markets when the market dynamics are not that different. hmmmmm... makes sense that'll be a single cylinder.
this is definitely bad news for the VTR250 speculation..
